Great place with lots of potential. Unfortunately the food is not up to the price. I had a burrata with grilled peaches and blackcurrant syrup. No peach and no blackcurrant syrup. My bread was very dry on one side. The taco was served with cold cocktail shrimp and I never received the guacamole and olives that were on the menu. I had to eat tacos like pizza, impossible to eat it as tacos. In short, I don't recommend it.

Quite a disappointment for a 4 star restaurant. We went for dinner on a Tuesday, unfortunately the restaurant was full and very very noisy. The service was terrible with a waitress who was more interested in chatting with the people at the bar than serving... The squid slices were poorly cooked and tasteless, the tartar was room temperature? and my fish & chips really wasn't very successful. Fortunately the salads and fries were excellent. The service was so long, even when there were only 5 people left at the bar that we no longer had a taste for the desert that tempted us, much to the great relief of the waitress. In addition, on Tuesdays, fish & chips are on sale for $5, we were charged the full price.

I've never in my life had a meal at a restaurant that I cannot finish. For reference, I fast. I eat one meal a day. I'm on vacation with my in-laws for my mother in-laws 70rh birthday. The restaurant is beautifully placed, on the lake with a really nice ambience.

I order a lobster bisque (12$) and a scorpion shrimps (37$). They contained so much salt that I could not eat them. The soup was sent back. Most plates were not finished. We asked the manager to consider that the food was not edible. Nothing was done.

When I received my bill, soup was still included. One of the most disappointing meals I've ever had. Nobody cared that the food wasn't at a passable quality. We sped 80$ between 6 people. Please don't make the same mistake as us and did not eat here. I REPEAT, DO NOT EAT HERE. It's a dumpster fire of a restaurant. Please avoid.

A decent menu with a glimmer of hope, an average result that lives up to the classic traps of restaurants that want to gain prestige with a well-heeled but uncritical clientele...in short, a hefty bill (50-60 per person with 2 children and a minimalist choice) and 0 punch!!

In detail
weak cocktails (I would have bet they were non-alcoholic)
as a starter, a good shrimp taco, but...
Fried squid of the kind you'd expect from a back-of-the-house bistro
At the meal mussels good all in all
And a salmon tartare, in my opinion, raw and soulless...
The fries are excellent!!! ...knowing that the boiler cheese factory is so close...success here would be achievable...

The dishes do not correspond to the description (change of ingredients without notifying us), ultra dry ribs. The waitress doesn't know the menu. Disappointing.

Magical place by the lake. Friendly welcome. The restaurant is located on the edge of the lake. Possibility of sleeping on site which seemed interesting to us. But we had already booked another hotel. There is a swimming pool and various activities offered. If you stay overnight or are willing to pay extra after lunch, the burgers were excellent

Nice place, food is ok. The prices advertise gastronomy but the dishes were quite ordinary. Sweet oil salad, fried potatoes with Sriracha mayonnaise and generous pieces of meat on the other hand.
The salmon fillet was served with warmed bulgur; therefore dry and hard to the tooth.
High prices: The 3 main plates: Salmon fillet, land and sea plate, and filet, only one liqueur, only one juice, only one dessert, no alcohol, for a bill of $170 + the tip is a bit Dear.

Apart from the accessibility and the view of the lake, I found that this restaurant lacked personality both in its menu and in the atmosphere.

Very pleasant location on the edge of the lake. Also, the lighting is super pleasant, well subdued and the music is present without intruding. The decoration is original and authentic. The view of the lake alone is worth the detour. There is a small wine cellar where you can choose your bottle, which is very nice, everything between $30 and $250 dollars. Food wise, well presented, honest with good value for money. I had the salmon with risotto. Fish a tad overcooked and the risotto to forget, mushy and not very pleasant. If I were the chef, I would replace it with something else, easier to deliver. Efficient and pleasant waitress, very calm. Really for the atmosphere, there is no better place in Mégantic if you like a quiet place to share a meal. I recommend and will return.

Pleasant dinner; the atmosphere at the edge of the lake is really very niceHowever, 2 ecceuils, mussels whose broken shells (overcooked) were found on the plate, and a salmon tartare that we forgot in the salt (probably half-cooked salmon)Another little greeting, no gesture or return when we pointed this out to the waitressI gave 3 stars because the chef had extenuating circumstances given the event the day before, nevertheless a small gesture would have been welcome

They're a little snobby towards English speakers but overall a great place to dine.
