Very good coffee and they are always cheerful and friendly. Service with a smile is so underrated these days. The breakfast sandwich is good but it’s always tough in a bagel with a hole in the middle. I find it slips and slides all over the place. Great fresh ingredients. Would love a breakfast sandwich in one of their delicious croissants. Hashbrowns are okay, not my fav. Overall very great coffee shop with great artisanal wine selection too. Yummy baked goods.

This place is getting out of hand. I’ve been here a few times - staff is pleasant, food is ok, but I think I’m done with this place. During the Lachine half-marathon, I went to grab a coffee from their outdoor kiosk. I got a cold brew, it was large, but the price left me dumbfounded - 10$ for a cold brew?!! That is ridiculous. In no world should a coffee cost $10. This isn’t the old port, or some trendy place in MTL where you can get away with charging 10$ for 40 cents worth of coffee. This is Lachine, where I grew up, a down to earth picturesque location where people shouldn’t be ripped off for wanting to enjoy a coffee near the beautiful lakeshore. Shame on you, Comptoir St. Jo.

Great cafe! Staff are all super friendly and helpful. Great variety of food and drinks. Also, they have a bunch of wine, drinks, food, condiments, spreads, etc. all of which you can buy and most of which seemed local.

My boyfriend and I go as often as we can. The staff is extremely friendly and it’s one of those places where they end up knowing your name and remembering your order. It has a nice terrace and amazing coffee / treats. The avocado bagel is always a good breakfast item. They also have other local / organic items in a mini grocery store section indoors. Would definitely recommend.
