No falafel that I've ever had in my life compares to this stuff. Not to add that the vegan meat is also AMAZING

St-Jacques Falafel is truly a gem! The highlight of the visit was the owner-hostess herself — such a warm, genuine person whose energy makes you instantly feel at home.
The service was attentive and welcoming, and I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious the vegetarian options were. Honestly, I never thought veg dishes could be this flavorful and satisfying — each bite was fresh, vibrant, and full of taste.
If you’re looking for amazing food paired with heartfelt hospitality, St-Jacques Falafel is the place. I’m already looking forward to my next visit!

The food was excellent, truly well prepared and flavorful. However, the overall experience was disappointing. I made a lighthearted comment about what seemed like a pricing mistake, but instead of taking it as a joke, the response I received was an insult whispered discreetly. While the cuisine itself deserves recognition, the way customers are treated matters just as much. Great food, but the experience left a negative impression.

Welcoming staff, delicious and filling choices. Veggies are fresh, sauces are amazing, and you don't miss meat. Fast service. Parking can be an issue, but the food is worth the effort.

This place is spectacular! They offer authentic, delicious vegetarian Israeli food, tons of bakery options and grocery items. If this isn’t enough, the people are some of the happiest and kindest people you’ll meet anywhere, plus they have a few parking spots and a patio to enjoy your meal. Can’t recommend Falafel St. Jacques enough! ❤️

I am editing my review from 4 years back. Amazing Vegan food, must must try!!! Very fresh and authentic taste. We tried the falafel pita wrap, shitake plate, baklawa, pistachio sweet. I bet anything you try here is amazing. I specifically was looking to visit this place from Toronto and have recommended this to 5 others who love it. Must visit if you are visiting Montreal and looking for fresh food. Requesting the owner to open a branch in Toronto!

Staff was extremely friendly. Food was amazing and I am blown away by how good vegetarian food can be! They are also very generous with the portions. I will definitely be thinking about this place until the next time I am around the area

My wife and I were passing through Montreal doing our Harley Davidson Dealership visits and found this place down the road. BEST DECISION EVER! The lady who helped us was the NIECEST person we could have hoped for, the food was OUTSTANDING and the place is such a cute little city food MUST! Sitting outside on the deck our hostess (and I'm so sorry I didn't get her name) came to check on us, brought us some free pastries and then before we left she dropped another chocolate dessert on the table for our ride back to Ottawa. WE WILL BE BACK!
Really good vegetarian shish taouk and schwarma, really good portion size, and amazing service. Must try!
Good eatery. Recommend for visitors and Montrealers .
Amazing authentic Falafel, in real middle eastern pita, with delicious Humus. None of that dry paper thin pita you find in most places, but the real deal. Great Burekas, great service, huge portions. This place is amazing and reminds me of back home. Definitely worth coming back to again and again and again!
You cant go wrong with Israeli cuisine. When I heard this place is owned by an Israeli and Palestinian I was super happy.
