We’re so glad we chose Societe Traiteur to cater our wedding! My husband and I wanted to do something a bit different with the food—sharing great meals together is one of our favourite things, so we wanted that same feeling at our wedding. Instead of a traditional sit-down dinner, we went for Lebanese-inspired sharing plates so our guests could try a bit of everything.
After hearing our vision, the team completely designed a menu for us and were so thoughtful throughout the whole process. They even took our feedback on specific dishes and made adjustments to suit our tastes. The food was absolutely delicious, beautifully presented, and honestly one of the biggest highlights of the day for us and our guests. We recently hired Societe Traiteur for our wedding and we had to write a review about the amazing food and unparalleled service experience. They offered an extensive variety of options at a very competitive prices, including vegan and kosher options, even going beyond their menu. We especially loved their authentic Italian and Quebecois roots, giving options both with a local flair and international flavors. The tasting session was a highlight—every dish was delicious & beautifully presented. We ended up giving our guests a choice of pasta course simply because the options we tried were too good to choose between; we needed both!
There were a couple of hiccups with administrative communication, but it is not unexpected as they had as a team grown exponentially over the summer before our wedding in late 2024. With growth comes some room for improvement, but otherwise we found Societe Traiteur very capable with orchestrating the service and planning of our evening. The same growth also speaks well of their successes and ability to execute at a high level, garnering them an amazing culinary reputation.
We had an incredible team of cooks, servers, bar staff and Maitre'D on the day of at the venue. They did a wonderful job, attending to our every need and they really made the experience a great one. The staff were quick, on point, keeping guests fed and free of any mess, trash or empty glasses. The food was delicious and came out quickly and frequently; we got endless compliments from our guests. The kind staff even set aside a plate of the canapes for us and frequently visited our table to attend to any need; we felt completely welcomed and pampered by them. As we did our table visits, we noted nearly every plate was left clean. At the end of the night, the staff shared extremely kind words and unsolicited compliments to us. They really made the night more special.
Our wedding day was wonderful, we had a great experience with the staff and the food was one of our and our guests favourite part of the evening.

Last Saturday night, I attended. an event catered by Societe Traiteur. Francisco and his team, Camille and Lise, offered an elevated level of professionalism. They were incredibly attentive, polite, and knowledgeable. I have very specific dietary needs; I am vegan and gluten-free. Francisco provided a meal that exceeded all possible expectations! Our starter salad was almost too beautiful to eat. Sweet beets, fresh tomatoes, and a lovely mix of greens graced the plate—the combination of flavours and textures harmonized in every bite. My main dish consisted of a fantastical mushroom breaded in corn flour that rested upon a bed of the most exquisite eggplant puree. The hint of spice in the sauce married the crispiness of the mushroom, creating a perfect bite. Roasted vegetables in a rainbow of colours decorated the plate and added an incredible array of textures. Dessert consisted of a crisp, flavourful vegan, gluten-free tartlet shell filled with the smoothest, most decadent vegan chocolate mousse I've ever tasted! Accented with fresh diced apples, strawberries, raspberries and blueberries, this was the perfect closure to a brilliant meal! While I enjoyed my dinner, other guests were treated to the same salad and dessert with either salmon or chicken as their main dish. Both were beautifully presented. The salmon was accompanied by sweet potato puree and a beautiful selection of roasted vegetables. The Chicken was served with roasted potatoes and vegetables. Everyone was quite impressed with their food and the level of service that was provided. I HIGHLY recommend Societe Traiteur for any event catering.

Our wedding at Club Atwater was catered by Societe Traiteur and we could not have imagined a more incredible caterer and the experience they delivered! As they were they exclusive caterer for our venue we were a little concerned about losing the lack of choice for catering at first, but all our worries completely melted away with our tasting! Not only was the quality of service absolutely flawless, with no suggestion unable to be perfectly fulfilled, but the food was absolutely unforgettable - I still dream of how delicious every bite was throughout the night. Our guests made several comments to us the day of and later on that it was the best food they ever had at a wedding, and they couldn't get over the phenomenal bar service by the incredible Societe staff. Even I as the bride noticed during the meal the impeccable professionalism shown by the staff and their flawless timing and attention to detail; it was so reassuring to know that I could truly just sit back and enjoy the day knowing how perfect the guest experiences were, largely in part due to Societe Traiteur and their work with the venue. If you ever need to hire a caterer, you cannot go wrong with this company, we could not ask for more delicious food and perfect service staff.
