I recently hosted a 60th birthday party here. Elena and her team provided an outstanding experience for this very important celebration. We reserved the private event space upstairs. The waterfront view was spectacular, and the space itself was classy and perfect for our group of 40. The food was plentiful and absolutely delicious! Elena worked with me to make sure the event went off seamlessly and provided many options for our buffet menu. We were given a dedicated bartender for the evening and we hired the DJ recommended by the restaurant (Stephane the DJ was also great to work with and created a great atmosphere throughout the evening). The party went off perfectly, largely thanks to Elena's expertise, friendliness and the professionalism of the entire staff. I highly recommend this establishment for any special occasion you are hosting.

We recently held our wedding reception upstairs at Taormina Lounge, and our guests can’t stop raving about the food and service! I’ve been to weddings where the head table finishes eating long before the last table is served, but that certainly wasn’t the case here. Guests had a choice of four entrées selected on the day, and every plate arrived hot, delicious, and exactly as ordered.
We also had several guests with severe food allergies, and thanks to our advance notice, they were accommodated flawlessly—such a relief when dealing with serious allergies. The servers were attentive and amazing throughout the evening.
Another highlight was the in-house DJ, who also offered a photo booth. Both were a huge hit! He made sure the photo booth was easy to use without disrupting the flow of the music. We had given him specific requests for the cocktail hour and dinner, along with a wide mix of genres for dancing, and he handled our eclectic tastes perfectly.
Elena was an absolute delight to work with—warm, personable, and incredibly supportive. She explained everything clearly, guided us through the setup and the event itself, and was even there afterwards to make sure all went smoothly.
We couldn’t be happier with our choice. I would highly recommend this beautiful space for any gathering—or even just for dinner. Thank you, Elena, Stéphane, and the entire team, for helping make our day so special! Tania & Roy

If I could give more stars, I would! The Taormina staff helped us my daughter’s sweet 16 extra special. From the start, Elena, the owner, was helpful, clear and organized (and always available!). On the day of the event, the whole staff was ready for us. We had a few people with food restrictions and the kitchen did an amazing job at offering fresh and delicious options- all my guests were well taken care of. I have to admit, i found this place by chance, and I'm very glad i did, this place is a real hidden gem, the food was amazing, Elena made sure we got the best service and was a real sweetheart, the portions are generous and delicious, the terrasse overlooking the river was perfect, and you can take a walk along the water and discover the light house, it is the perfect spot for an evening of fun with friends, thank you Elena, will definitely be back very soon for more of your delicious pasta and of course the home made tiramisu

Everything was perfect. The food is amazing. We had the soup of the day which was chicken with pastena - very flavourful & then I had gnocchi rose with mushrooms added which was honestly one of the best gnocchi dishes I’ve had. My husband had linguini carbonara which was prepared the right way with eggs & he said it was really good. Overall amazing experience. The service was great & the person who served us was very attentive & nice. It was our first time doing here so we will definitely be back.
