Absolutely horrible..our hamburgers were so thin and smothered in ketchup and mayo..expensive for garbage. On the Hawkesbury side A&W so much better Will not be returning to the Lachute location...

I’ve had several bad experiences at this A&W, with food often being cold, long wait times, and mistakes in my orders. After a few months of not going, I decided to give it another try today, and unfortunately, nothing has improved.
From the start, communication was an issue. I couldn’t understand the person taking my order, and they didn’t seem to understand me either. After paying at the window, I noticed my receipt was missing two items. I was told to pull forward and wait. When I went back inside, they admitted they forgot to add the items and had me pay for them separately.
After waiting about 15 minutes, I finally received my order. Once I got home and opened the bag, I realized the order was still wrong: I ordered two Mozza burgers but received one Mozza burger and one Teen burger. The burgers and fries were cold, and one apple pie tasted stale and old.
This was especially disappointing considering the restaurant wasn’t very busy at all. Overall, very poor service and quality. I won’t be returning.

So every other A& W in Montreal and surrounding is offering free child meal if you show up with a dressed up kid. Except Lachute. They’re « independent ». So just keep that in mind when it comes to promotions. They don’t go or them here.

New owner and he has turned this place around. Clean, great food, and great service. We'll done.
Stopped by on the way back to Ottawa. Ate inside. Was served quickly and food was fresh. Prices were reasonable (we had the fish sandwich and a poutine). The washroom was clean. What more could you ask from a fast food joint on the side of the highway?

The person at the counter told us No more onion rings. Mind you the person at the counter was completely lost. Not even sure if he was aware that he was supposed to be working. So instead of the onion rings we took the fries which were totally disgusting. Went straight to the garbage. Going back to the onion rings, this is actually the first time I hear of no more onion rings at A&W. Have you ever heard of McDonald's running out of fries???

Apparently they don’t serve Beyond Meat burgers anymore as the last two times I’ve gone in, they didn’t have any. I’m not I understand why they bother to put it on the menu

Was very good they have the best burger but the did not fulfill correctly my daughter's order. She asked to have her chicken burger with no tomatoes and no sauce and they did not do it. Otherwise everything else was ok in the rest of my son and in my order.
