There were 5 of us and we arrived around 3 30 hours. The waitress was alone and very welcoming. She even took the time to chat and make little jokes with us. The atmosphere was very zen considering the time of our arrival. She offered us lobster rolls and we loved them, served on brioche bread it was delicious. I liked that the owner came to help his waitress who was busy and came to greet us. It was only the second time but not the last. There is a beautiful outdoor terrace. When I went there for the first time it was in the evening there was a nice atmosphere with dancing with a group of musicians. Sorry I don't have any photos, although I was sure I took some. I highly recommend this restaurant

We tried this restaurant and we will not return. I had the beef tartare and I wasn't able to finish my plate. I'm not picky about food but this... It was anything BUT fresh. The meat had a strange color and that's not to mention the taste. I felt like I was eating meat past date. I digested badly all evening... Clearly the beef was not fresh. I'm used to eating beef tartare and then I felt sick. The service was also poor. We only saw the waitress twice and she brought me a bill with incorrect prices. I had to argue with her about the price she gave me to finally have to bring out the menu and be right. She rolled her eyes and left to refill the bill, sighing. Well yes... it was your mistake, not mine. In short, in my opinion, it is the worst experience I have had with restaurants in Lachute.

Sunny and warm day. we were welcomed with wide open arms by this kind waitress - thank you and keep smiling, it suits you perfectly :) good food on a beautiful terrace.
The owner, with a French accent was just rude. We called to make reservations for a group of disabled people with assistance dogs. He told us that the only dogs accepted in his restaurant are MIRA dogs. This goes against the charter of rights and freedoms. We tried to explain to him that our service dogs and our organization are all within the law but he refused to listen to us. He told us that there are 20 other restaurants in LaChute and that if we are not happy we can go elsewhere.

The menu on the internet was different from that on site. There was a lot more choice on the internet. I took the flank steak, I asked for med-rare and there was no red at all, I don't like to waste so I ate it, it was still good. The waitress was nice but didn't know how to serve wine, she didn't give us a taste and served it directly. My boyfriend had the flank steak poutine, the pieces of meat were quite tough. For Dessert we took the semi-cooked one (since there was no ice cream left the waitress kindly put 2 on the plate) Prices were very reasonable

I had the beef tartare. The cut was very (very) rough and imperfect, the seasoning was too vinegary, as was the salad, and honestly the ingredients looked semi-fresh. The waitress was prompt and yet there weren't many customers. She didn't know her menu and the tartare didn't contain what she told me. Positive: The fries were good and the bossgirl was nice.

Great food, cold beer, okay service. Stopped by this place with my family for lunch. The patio outside was full, so we got a table inside. The restaurant was pretty cozy although the table we got was quite wobbly. The waiter helped us make sense of the menu in French. I ordered Fish & Chips which I found really good. My wife got a burger on a charcoal bun (the only type of bun they had). The burger was decent but the bun did not taste right. Our daughter got Steak Poutine which was super delicious. We also tried two local IPAs which were pretty good.
A less positive part of our experience here was that the waiter mixed up our orders twice. I’m not sure why he relied on his memory rather than writing the orders down. Overall, we liked the place and will be returning.
