Bon après-midi. Mon mari et moi voulions prendre le petit-déjeuner à la Brasserie des Rapides aujourd'hui (nous prenons le petit-déjeuner ici depuis environ 15 ans et nous demandons toujours une place près de la fenêtre, et nous nous sommes toujours assis près de la fenêtre). Aujourd'hui, la femme à l'entrée a refusé de nous donner une place près de la fenêtre. Elle a dit qu'il s'agissait de sièges pour de grands groupes, même si les sièges étaient près de la fenêtre.

Upon entering we had our first annoyance: they were renovating part of the carpet on the floor and were making a huge noise, this noise continued throughout the service and while we were eating! Extremely unpleasant! Right after I ordered chicken and it didn't feel like the chicken was freshly cooked, it looked like reheated chicken, the oil they used was so old the color of the chicken was almost brown, plus the chicken was completely tough without any texture! I was completely dissatisfied, if I had bought it in the metro it would have been better! Plus, the drink wasn't very cold! If I wanted chocolate, coffee or hot tea, I would be more satisfied!

Local watering hole/sports bar. Beer menu really lacks diversity, microbreweries are pretty much absent. Food is ok.

I've been to this bar a lot throughout my life and its been about the same and that's not a bad thing. The food is consistent and good the place is clean and staff is nice. Its you're classic bar. Never had issues here and in the summer the terrace is a nice place to have breakfast or lunch with friends. Keep it up.
