I've eaten there once, and reviewing the food is a waste of my time, just read every other 1 star review here, I agree with every one I read.
I'm here to express how happy I am to see the rating fall from 5 star to 4.1 and I really hope more people try this place and review it honestly so it can reach the 1 star it doesnt even deserve, so the sooner we get some other business open up there.
I'm here to talk about how this place farmed fake reviews to get to 5 stars. I was shocked, a year ago when I saw 5 star after eating there and being revolted.
Seeing the chatGPT answers to the negative reviews is hilarious.
I'm not sure what this place is doing open honestly. Is it a front ?
I like to give multiple chances to restaurants but this is a place I'm truely terrified of swallowing anything coming from there.
Please try it, leave a 1 star review, but make sure you dont ingest too much and keep some spare change to buy yourself another meal.

The restaurant has new owners now. The shawarma chicken and potatoes are so flavourful and tasty. Proportions are generous. Definitely worth a try. I’ll be back!

I often come here just before the lunch rush to get the chicken at its crispiest. Today it did not disappoint. Probably the best chicken of my life. As I arrived, the potatoes had not been fried yet while awaiting their first customer. I asked them to fry them a bit longer until they were nice and brown. The extra flavour combined with their unique spices made for a meal I won’t forget. The portion was so humongous, I almost could not finish my plate.

Been going there for 15 years. Owner changed recently. We ordered shish taouk. Portions changed (barely any meat) and potatoes and meat recipe also changed. Less flavourful and dry. Staff didnt understand their own menu. One person ordered the pita sandwhich and was told: hiw do I do that... not going back :(

The food is great and the service from Tona’s was excellent
We had the trio shawarma with the potatoes and it was delicious. The new owners offered us to try their Ethiopian food for free and it blew us away. This restaurant offers really good taste in large quantity for a fairly cheap price. The owners were really nice and chatty too which is a plus!
