“this place would be a dive, devoted as it is in Covid-time to video lottery machines and a pool table and their players, and mostly deserted on a Saturday night (except for a lusciously furred cat), but for the wonderful server and the terrific playlist, played at a level where you could hear it AND your companion without strain. there was something sweet about it (or was it my companion?). apparently, in the past they had live music in it's teeny space.“

“Great experience at Jack Astor’s! Our server was a true one-man army — super attentive, friendly, and always checking on us to make sure everything was perfect. The service really made our visit special. The piña colada was very good and refreshing. We also loved the garlic bread and nachos; they were absolutely delicious and full of flavor. Everything came out fresh and well prepared. I’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend this place!“

“I went there for the first time for my bday on a sunday and family and i had great time. The server very nice and welcoming, atmosphere fun. During that same there was a hockey hame so it was crowded. I definitely recommend this place and am probably going to go back. Loved it.“

“My daughter got food poisoning from the chicken finger meal. Spent 12 hours in Emergency to get it confirmed. Only one of the four to get sick. Too bad because we came to Montreal to see the Habs and experience the Bell Centre. Hope it was an unfortunate occurrence and not the norm. Was our first time eating there. Don't believe we'll be back. Service and atmosphere were good but had to give everything 1 star otherwise the review was misleading.“

“Great spot for pre-game food and beverages. Had the burger and it was delicious. My partner had the club and said it was delicious. Sebastian was our server and he was fantastic - came back multiple times to check on us, refill our drinks. The atmosphere is great, so many fans!
Went after the game for drinks again. Love the popcorn and the vibe. Again the service was wonderful and we had a chance to chat with Sebastian who was finished his shift. Will definitely be back next year for another game and more visits to La Cage.“

My son is turning 16 soon and he had a group of friends (20) along with family members kids and a baby and this restaurant was so accommodating. There was one waitress for 2 large tables, she was great and the food was delicious!!! I highly recommend going there for an event.“

“The experience was ok. I think the server was new as she did not know the specials. I asked for the burger special and a beer. Beer was wonderfully cold, but the burger came naked. No tomatoes, no onions, just a plain burger on a bun. Because I had a bit of a time constraint, I did not ask to add the toppings, I just ate it. Overall experience was ok,“
