This morning I went to this Tim Hortons and had a terrible experience. The cashier was extremely rude. I ordered a vanilla latte and when I checked the screen to confirm my order, I noticed he had punched in a mocha latte. When I pointed it out, he said he did that because he couldn’t find the vanilla latte option. I also repeated twice that my latte needed to be made with oat milk, and he seemed to understand.
However, when I received my drink, it was made with regular milk. I told the lady at the coffee station about the mistake, and she said I had to speak to the cashier. When she mentioned it to him, instead of taking responsibility, he told her that I never asked for oat milk even though I had clearly repeated it twice.
What upset me the most is that instead of apologizing for his mistake, he started talking about me to the lady at the coffee station in front of me, showing complete disrespect and lack of professionalism.
This was such a disappointing experience that I am honestly considering not coming back to this location again.
