Best food and service. Bravo Thierry
Le Prieuré is a cozy, vintage-style French restaurant with warm lighting and welcoming service, run by the chef and his wife. The ambiance is intimate and charming, with a personal touch throughout the evening.
Cocktails were well-priced and solid, with one standout that we enjoyed so much we plan to attempt and recreate it at home.
We had a classic three-course meal. Entrées were a highlight - the foie gras with port reduction was rich and beautifully executed, and the duck trilogy was excellent, especially the caramelized onions.
The rack of lamb was cooked perfectly rosé, but the parmesan was only sprinkled, not crusted, and the cuts were uneven. The sides were less successful - buttery mashed potatoes were great, but the vegetables were bland and the cob of corn felt out of place. Otherwise great dish.
For dessert, the tiramisu was flavorful but too liquidy at the bottom, and the crème brûlée, though tasty, lacked the freshly torched top we expected.
At just under $360 for two (including cocktails, half a bottle of wine, and tip), it was a fair and enjoyable experience overall. Everything was nearly spot-on, with just a small element in the main course that kept it from reaching a full five-star experience. Nonetheless le Prieuré shows a lot of heart and has real potential with some refinements.

So much the best restaurant ever!!! The dishes are atypical, tasty, colorful, Martine and Thierry are so nice ❤️ we offer the priory once a year now for sure! (Besides, it’s our 10th anniversary at the end of July we won’t have the choice to come!:p)
It’s hard to summarize our first visit to the restaurant Le Prieuré but let’s go anyway! Welcome: Excellent! Meals: Excellent and in the shade of taste, perfect execution of dishes! So in summary, an experience with a memorable intrinsic artistic theme!!! Thanks to Thierry and Martine for your hospitality and the pleasure of a future visit!!!!
We loved our evening, it was a delight for our taste buds. Thank you for the beautiful evening for my lover’s birthday!!
Warm welcome by the owners. A perfect experience. Menu with an excellent choice, and everything was good, served at the desired pace. The pork brains and cheeks were excellent, as was the trou Normand!
A very very good address, a gourmet restaurant at L'Assomption, beautiful decoration, an intimate place and a perfect welcome

Excellent experience
The hospitality and ambiance of this French restaurant are #1, but the quality and beautiful presentation of the meals were over the top. I absolutely loved everything about this place. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Situated in an ancestral stone building, the owners have kept the old world charm while serving up contemporary french cuisine, with some elements of international fusion type inspirations. The service is excellent, as to be expected when the owners are present to oversee the day to day operations. The chef will apparently accomodate requests made in a timely manner ,as they do accept larger group reservations ( birthdays, family events, professional gatherings...)My wife and I are return customers and have sampled many different offers, from blood sausage to duck and roast beef.. never disappointed.
