Friendly
A place where my partner and I like to come and play pool and have a beer. We decided to go there tonight and we were a bit peckish. We asked one of the staff to make us some good wings (which were excellent by the way). She came to bring us the bill and went back to the bar to serve customers. Then a woman sitting at the bar came up to us, crouched down in front of us and asked what the money was on the table. We replied that it was to pay the bill. She asked what was going on…we again said we just wanted to pay. The latter said she wanted to help the bartender and left with our money. A woman sitting at the bar, leaves with our money, we have not seized anything. She came back and said to us: is it complete? We said yes and she added that it was not much! And she left.We didn't know who it was or what she was doing with our money, so we kept the guy and wanted to give it directly to our waitress/bartender.This woman did not stop at that moment. She went to the back of the bar to tell two patrons, pointing at us, that we hadn't given enough. She spoke ill of us.We went to give the guy straight to our waitress naming him what happened and she apologized for the woman being an employee supposedly and told us it wasn't the first time she had was doing this.We loved coming here but being approached that way, being put down in the eyes of other customers is not much appreciated and should not be tolerated in this society.There should be a meeting about this to make sure it doesn't happen again in the future.
