This newish restaurant and bar is on the main floor of a high rise condominium. You must first enter the building to enter the restaurant, but the restaurant faces the street with large windows on 2 sides. was delighted with the separate gluten-free menu—which had LOTS of choice for appetizers and main courses. Our server was doubling as bartender on this Good Friday evening, and he was able to serve us in adequate English. It was not busy and ambience was relaxing. For apps I had the fries with homemade mayo (good) and the scallops (delicious). For my main I had the duck (a traditional Quebecois dish). Food was served attractively and was tasty. I might have liked a little less salt in the duck plate, is all I have to say. My partner had the deep fried chicken, which he thought was very good. Will definitely return on a future visit to Quebec City!

If you want to have good ambiance, enjoy fresh food and top notch service, Bistro Évolution is the place to go. Their menu varies seasonally with a farm-to-table concept. Great cocktails and wine by the glass. Absolutely love their new menu for the summer. Small plates to order so you can taste multiple dishes, served in a thought out sequence according to your chosen combination. The octopus taco is by far the best meal I had in while. Thank you again for having us!
