Very disappointed with the Christmas dinner in the ad it was mentioned (free appetizers) and I received a quarter of a bacon sausage cut in half but the drunk was good.... nice ad to attract people.... rather go to delight or blaxton from now on

First of all, I would like to point out that I really like the food at Shaker and that this was not my first experience at Shaker Lévis. However, my family and I had a very bad experience this evening.
We reserved a table for 8 people about a week and a half before the party for my sister and I. We also received a text message to confirm the time and the number of people (8).
When we arrive there, the hostess directs us to our table, a table of 6 people. She then tells us that the 7th person can sit at the end. I confirm to him that there are 8 of us, as planned in the reservation. She then proceeds to tell me in an arrogant tone that this is false, that the system indicated a reservation for only 7 people, so that we can add chairs and squeeze each other. However, since it was a high table and high chairs, we were not able to squeeze 8 people onto a 6 person table. The hostess then told us that that was always how it worked, and that our reservation indicated 7 people, so there was nothing she could do. So I showed her the reservation confirmation text on my phone indicating a reservation for 8 people, and she looked up and said it wasn't important since that wasn't what was written to the system.
She finally then went to check the computer again, and as we were sitting directly next to the computer, we could see that the reservation in our name was indeed for 8 people, which she definitely saw double checking as well . However, she came back to see us, without admitting her mistake, and she told us that we could exceptionally (with a lot of annoyance and arrogance) pair a table of two with our tables to allow us to sit all 8 , but that we could not have the extra table throughout our supper. She also then added that since our reservation was at 5:00 p.m. and we arrived at 4:35 p.m. (the restaurant was completely empty, there were 2-3 tables occupied), that we should vacate the table at 6:30 p.m., not at 7 p.m. as planned. So we agreed, but we were very shocked by the attitude presented to us, which set an unpleasant tone for a party evening.
For the service itself, our waitress Alexandra was excellent: she was very kind, helpful and courteous. We ate well, despite the longer service times, but we were understanding since it was a Saturday evening and it is normal to have a longer wait for a 3-course dinner for a group on the weekend.
We finally received our bills at 6:50 p.m. and paid at 6:55 p.m. At 6:59 p.m., the hostess from the beginning of the evening came back to see us and told us that she had already given us an extra 30 minutes that we should not have had and that now we were going to have to leave since a group was waiting. after our table.
His lack of professionalism, respect, courtesy and his deplorable attitude towards customers really bothered us. Besides, we must remember that we did not really benefit from “an extra 30 minutes”, because
1. We received our main meal at 6:15pm after ordering at 5:30pm, and our bills at 6:50pm, so how could we have left early?
2. Our reservation for over a week was from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., so customers who were "waiting" after us at 6:59 p.m. could not have been booked for 6:30 p.m.
Honestly, we are happy with the quality of the food and service from our waitress, but we are very disappointed with the lack of professionalism and respect from the hostess, who made us feel like we were in the wrong before and after our meal.
