Very disappointing experience – Friday, October 3rd at 7 PM
We were a group of four dining in, and the experience was far from what we expected. We ordered one lasagna and three Table d’Hôte meals (including chicken and pasta). About 15 minutes later, the waiter came back to tell us there was no chicken left. We adjusted our choices and ordered from the à la carte menu instead, adding Arancini as our entrée.
Shortly after, we were told there was no lasagna left either — and then, about 20 minutes later, that there were no Arancini left!
They brought us four bread buns to start, and since we were getting hungry from waiting so long, we asked for another four. We received only two, with the waiter saying the rest were in the oven and would be brought shortly. Halfway through our meal, we realized the missing two never arrived and had to ask for them again.
To top it off, when we asked if the restaurant could offer something in compensation (like a coffee), we were told we could have coffee — but that we’d still have to pay for it. When we asked to speak to the manager, we were told he wasn’t there.
This is simply not good customer service. Running out of so many dishes on a Friday night is hard to understand, and the lack of any gesture to make up for it was disappointing. We won’t be returning, and we’ll be sure to share our experience with friends and family.

We had high expectations coming into this restaurant. The soup and appetizers of meatballs and calamari were good. We ordered a seafood papardalle but there seemed to be no taste in the seafood or the sauce. It was expensive and I lost my appetite after that. The other linguini dish with pancetta sauce was better. The server didn't come often to check on us and we had to wait quite awhile until he came to fill out empty glass. The food was ok but but didn't think the price was appropriate. The atmosphere is nice and there was plenty of parking. I don't think we will be returning.

I had chicken parmesan catering. It was by far, an excellent choice. The service was great also, very kind staff.
Overpriced pasta and poorly cooked tough veal.

Great food but very slow service. Took 1.5 hr for kids to get their meals and longer for adults
We hosted our engagement party at Bistro Certo this past weekend and had the most incredible experience from start to finish. The service was truly exceptional—the staff were friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly.
The owner generously allowed us to come in early to set up, which made a world of difference. The team was so accommodating with helping us rearrange tables and chairs to match the aesthetic we were going for, and they had no issue with us bringing in our own decorations, including a welcome sign and a balloon arrangement. They truly made the space feel like our own.
Throughout the evening, the staff remained warm, professional, and sociable. We were able to play music, dance, and fully enjoy the night without ever feeling rushed or restricted. And the food—absolutely delicious. Every dish was beautifully presented and packed with flavor. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about it.
If you’re looking for a venue that combines amazing food, top-notch service, and a welcoming atmosphere, I highly recommend Bistro Certo. We’re so grateful for the role they played in making our engagement celebration so memorable.

It’s great to have an Italian restaurant in the neighborhood. The staff were friendly and the food was pretty good overall. The mussels, in particular, were excellent. That said, the service was a bit slow, so it’s best to come when you’re not in a rush. Also, note that it’s BYOB. It’s not the most amazing Italian food I’ve ever had, but if you live nearby, it’s definitely worth checking out.

Delicious food. The staff was very attentative and graciously accommodated our larger group including allergies. Portions were also very generous. Highly recommend!
Unfortunately I was very unsatisfied with my order, the menu mentioned traditional pasta carbonara, which no cream is required!
The carbonara came with full of cream and fatty and raw pieces of pancetta. I didn’t see any egg yolks added as well.
The tortellini rose was literally just regular tomato sauce and not creamy at all..
For the price I paid, this was not worth it for me.
