Very nice intimate spot. Black-centered atmosphere with hip hop 90’s music and art deco. The owner keeps this spot very clean in fact he cleans the entrance after all customers enters the restaurant. He was very courteous and seem to prepare his food with love for his consumers. I went with my sister for her birthday and even though there were no cocktails listed on the menu he made us two and OMG we could taste the alcohol. It was so good. We had the samosas for appetizer....
Staying one night in Longueuil on our way home to N.B. and just happened to come across the Avin Grill. Gave it a try and we were not disappointed. Nice atmosphere and very clean. Food was terrific. We ordered the beef as well as the chicken brochette. Both were great but preferred the chicken. Aïcha, one of the owners, was so sweet. Plus she was wearing a Montreal Canadiens touque. Doesn’t get better than that. Highly recommend.
Not too much from outside but a nice decor inside with an homage to black famous people on the walls.
We really liked the Rwandan food menu, everything was tasty and we really liked the curry rice and the fried plantains.
