Café Terrasse 1957

I just went there to get a coffee with a friend and chat while there was blues music playing in the background. This place is kind of an institution in old longueuil. It was not really busy and the staff was friendly. I like to go there late at night when everything else seems to be close on the south shore.

Today, I walked in Vieux-Longueuil and I had a craving for hot chocolate. I entered your home, the decor is superb! Unfortunately, the hot chocolate had no taste...and I was disappointed?I came back to share my dissatisfaction, and the young man kindly made me another one. I really appreciated this gesture, but unfortunately, the taste was still not there…

To start, 2 glasses of orange juice ($5 each) the word orange juice is a bit strong... let's say orange water received 10 minutes after having ordered it... I also ordered a coffee but I have never seen it…

My partner ordered a DELUX burger, only the price was delux, $20 for a hamburger without taste and salad… a real joke, a handful of salad without vegetables and without dressing, again $20…

My croque monsieur… lol… two slices of bread with cheese and pureed mushrooms on top… I had the same salad…

It would have cost a total of $65 for that, we took a bite and felt insulted… so we paid for the orange juice and period…

Honestly it's a bit shameful...

Very good place to go for a drink after work when the weather is nice! And parking is easy from 4 p.m. on the side streets
