The meal was okay. The service from our server Thierry, excellent. Unfortunately, the reception was more than mediocre. When we arrived, exactly at the time of our reservation, we were given the right to the small table stuck on a heater and the front door under the pretext that the other five tables available were tables for four and all reserved for groups of this number. A check on their reservation site quickly revealed that the restaurant was not full. And, some 5 minutes later, another couple showed up and, without any problem, were taken to a table set up for four away from the door and, of course, the heater. We had to change seats mid-meal so that one person was not frozen and the other was not completely cooked. The Gousto Bistro is no longer up to the standards of the previous owners.

It was our first visit since the change of ownership about 2 years ago and we wondered if the authenticity of Italian cuisine had been preserved. Well, we can certainly confirm that the taste and quality of the dishes (shrimp pasta and scallop risotto) we chose reflect good Italian cuisine. Additionally, the wines by the glass are excellent.

The Buffala pizza was excellent as well as the Arancini starter. On the other hand, the pasta of the day, penne pesto with arugula and sausages, was good nothing more. Finally, the insalata rosso with beets was a little bland.

Lunch du 27 juillet - Première visite sur place depuis le départ d'Aurélie et de Gianfranco ( nous avions par contre commandé pour emporter -- penne arrabiata et lasagne - et tout était excellent). Super repas!!! Le tartare de thon et le flétan de mon ami étaient excellents. Le service aussi. Bravo aux nouveaux proprios. C'est bien parti. À la prochaine.
