Restaurant to avoid if you want to eat and not have to cook yourself when you get home! Our last experience was extremely disappointing.Has it changed ownership? Of cooks? Is it trying to increase margins with ridiculous portions? We have been to this restaurant several times and have also introduced it to friends and family. Saturday March 23 we had reserved a table for 7:30 p.m. for my wife's birthday. We arrive on time and no table. We had to wait 35/40 minutes to get a table. We had a drink, which could have been offered to us…We are seated at the table, we order 2 pickling boards and a children's menu (poutine). The first board arrives with the poutine. Poutine with way overcooked fries that taste like oil that hasn't been changed for a while, 4 grains of cheese and a sauce so dry that my son didn't eat it! Inedible for me too. Our first platter is correct with correct portion. But then, the second set arrives and wow the disappointment (I put the photos so you can laugh too). 3 large whole carrots, 4 pieces of zucchini and a tablespoon of puree. On the mash, 4 strips of meat and 8/10 cubes of pork with sweet sauce (which were literally cubes of fat, just fat). And honestly it was more of a portion for 1 person than for 2! So my son having not eaten anything, we give him the strips of meat and we eat 1 carrot to finally leave the dish. A board is $51 per person. In total we got out for $158 with 2 beers, a Coca Cola and a children's menu (of course we didn't leave any tips). We expressed our dissatisfaction, no discounts, not even the drinks offered and what's more, they robbed us because they did not serve the dessert included in our son's menu. In the end we arrived home a little before 10 p.m., having to cook pasta and meat because we had an empty stomach! Unacceptable for this price. Times are tough, we want to have fun and we go home with an empty stomach and above all NO commercial gesture! The portions have become ridiculous. I compared my photos of the last times I came here, and yes the portions and the quality of the dishes were superior, so definitely a change of owner or chef. If it's a change of chef, I advise you to change it again because you shouldn't be ashamed to put portions for 1 person but for 2, and above all, you shouldn't be ashamed to put cubes of fat as the main meat in $50 boards.

everything was great from the kitchen, to the waiting staff, just a small complaint but annoying after a while, the atmosphere of the room, with the music a little too loud makes the experience a little unpleasant after 1 hour at the table.

We went to dinner on Sunday. Probably the main boss was on leave. The fish and chips batter was rubbery, the tartare really average and the blackened fries were really ordinary. Only the lamb made sense. Please take better control of your kitchen.

Planned a date night for my party, we had never been, reference from a colleague. Booked for 1 month and we clearly indicated a quiet table especially since it is extremely noisy..She points out a table with a high bench facing the cook's grills.....heeeeee, read the comments....otherwise don't pretend to take them into account. In short, we went to an excellent restaurant not far away, service, atmosphere and A1 listening

We returned to this restaurant recently (2 couples) and, as always, everything was excellent. We all took individual boards which, overall, included the following dishes: grilled Brussels sprouts Caesar salad, beef tartare, tuna tartare, black pudding, pan-fried scallops, pan-fried foie gras, fried halloumi cheese and a portion of fries. The wine was also very good. The cost per couple was approximately $200 before taxes and tip. Although it's not cheap, it's worth treating yourself once in a while. We will return.
