This place was a complete letdown.
The menu outside didn't match what we got inside—about half the options were missing. Total bait and switch.
The atmosphere was just odd. It felt like sitting in a random, uncomfortable living room, surrounded by strangers in awkward silence.
The service? Terrible. Our waiter was straight-up rude and treated our group of six like we didn’t have a clue.
As for the food, it was mediocre at best. Honestly, it had that frozen, straight-out-of-a-box vibe—like something Gordon Ramsay would tear apart on Kitchen Nightmares.
Bottom line: We’re never going back. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place.

Excellent service from Felipe, he did everything possible so that we could have access to the room 5 hours in advance in order to prepare the decor. Food quality A1. The cod I have eaten, the best! Christmas party 2023. Very bad experience for a Christmas party. I'm not saying that the cooking wasn't good, but there is a big lack of honesty! First, we had booked the wine cellar room and we got a small, ugly, undecorated room. In the entrance of the restaurant, it smelled like sewers. At the start of the meal, we were supposed to have an Italian salad with balsamic vinegar and they served us a Caesar salad. We also had lobster ravioli with rosée sauce and white wine on the menu so we were never served. The meal was average compared to what we had chosen, it was not at all what was agreed. No adjustment was made on the invoice for the amount to be paid, it was my boss who paid the invoice and I realized that the amount remained the same despite 3 or 4 changes on their part, never again we will not book at Messina for a party.

My girlfriend and I discovered this restaurant last Friday during Lumifest and it was a great find. The restaurant is beautiful, the atmosphere is good (I found it funny to listen to Latin music videos in an Italian restaurant), the little armchairs are comfortable, the service was absolutely impeccable, the wine was good and the pasta arrabiata were delicious. Although at first I admit to thinking that the portion seemed a little small (I love pasta!), in the end this portion was satisfactory because this spicy sauce was quite a bit spicier than the other arrabiata pastas that I've been able to eat so far and that's a good thing! I was also happy with the price for 2 people. I definitely intend to go back!

Really great service. I called for a group reservation (10) but the restaurant is usually closed on Mondays. Well, they opened the restaurant for us. VIP service all evening.
