I picked up some smoked meat to go. Got the cold meal ( 1lb meat with jar of pickles, loaf of rye bread and coleslaw ) so when I got home I could make a sandwich ( coming from Ontario ) The tomato sauce is to die for !!! You wouldn't think it would go together ... to put smoked meat in spaghetti sauce... but omg. Sooo good.!
Always a line when you go there. Whether to dine in or take out. But dont let the line discourage you. It goes by pretty fast and its worth the wait. Theres a reason theres a line :)

Got a takeout 4 sandwiches ordered lean got home not only dry but full of fat and stringy pieces I understand its 930 but this is too expensive to be this bad Will not be back sorry

Stop at this Funky joint for the Best Smoked Meat in Canada! Sandwiches are delicious. Order, pay and sit down to enjoy the atmosphere. They'll bring your order to you, inside or out. So good! Yum! We stopped for takeout on our way back home to Toronto We picked up a warm one pound bundle of lean smoked meat goodness. Omg.

Go for the smoked meat: it is delicious and respectable but not large quantity (Mr Pete special: $20.75 with fries and a tiny coleslaw) but forget about the fries they are absolutely “disgusting”. It is very popular with a long wait line for tables but with absolutely no atmosphere and a waitress shouting loud enough to pierce your eardrums. Cost 36$ for a Mr Pete sandwich and a small draft beer.
