Having a breakfast at Cantine du Lac is like taking a trip back in time: the basic fare of eggs and bacon may not be the fanciest or the healthiest by today’s standards, but the fast and friendly service and the authentic mid 20th century layout and decor make for a very special experience we didn’t expect to find when looking for fast affordable breakfast option that didn’t equal MacDonalds! It’s not often these days you get to walk into a place where everybody knows not only each others name, but their whole life story.
