Great service A+ and amazing ceviche.

Lovely place, but as others have commented, the food was truly horrible: tasteless, stale, dried out, and arrived lukewarm. As another reviewer noted, they need to FIX what is happening in the kitchen!

I ate at this restaurant a number of years ago and loved it. Tonight, the food was truly horrendous. Other than the spicy sauces, the food had no flavour. The enchiladas arrived cold, with stale, tasteless tortillas and dried out chicken. The beef tacos ordered by my friend were slightly better, but again, the tortillas were stale and bland, and the beef was only passably flavourful. I can only conclude that the people writing good reviews are simply being fooled by the nice atmosphere.

Excelent food. But too slow in service. It took almost 3 hours to get my food. My coffee and dessert never arrived and anyway they charged me 110$… 😠

We visited Guacamole y Tequila as a family and had a great experience. We had made reservations in advance, and although the restaurant wasn’t too busy, we appreciated the smooth seating process. It was a bit windy that day, so we opted to dine indoors.

We started with a plate of nachos . Absolutely delicious and a hit with both the kids and my husband. My son ordered from the kids’ menu and really enjoyed his meal. I had the enchiladas, and I was pleasantly surprised — they were flavorful but not overly heavy or creamy like at some places, which I appreciated. My husband and daughter both had the pork with banana leaf and really enjoyed it.

For dessert, we all had churros. A sweet way to end the meal. The cocktails, however, were the real standout. They were the best we’ve had in Magog. My daughter and I had daiquiris, and my husband had a mojito.

Service was quick and very friendly. Our waitress was welcoming and even offered to take a family photo, which was a lovely gesture.

We’ll definitely be back!

Terrible food!! The waitresses were very nice, but the food was tasteless and took forever. I recommend changing cooks. I DON'T RECOMMEND THIS PLACE.

Beautiful terrace, excellent service. However as others have reported the food lacked flavour. Quac was cold, no salt or citrus. Steak fajitas and fish tacos, both no flavour. I even got a few pieces of octopus in in fajitas (???) and a few green peas (???). Service was excellent however, i was given a discount on meal. Fix whats happening in the kitchen!!!

We enjoyed sitting out on the patio—it was a beautiful day, and the outdoor setting was genuinely pleasant. Unfortunately, that was the highlight of an otherwise disappointing dining experience.
For a Mexican restaurant, the margarita was surprisingly disappointing — easily one of the worst I’ve ever had. It was overly sweet and tasted like it had been made with a cheap, store-bought mix. The bartender appeared quite young and inexperienced, which may have contributed to the poor quality. In fact, the drink was so off-putting that we ended up ordering a shot of tequila just to try to balance the taste — but even that didn’t help.
The food was mediocre at best. I ordered the chicken fajitas, which came smothered in cheese — an odd choice that didn’t add anything to the dish. Overall, the food lacked flavor and seasoning, leaving us underwhelmed.
Service was passable, but when we expressed our concerns about the drinks, we were met with a shrug and no offer to remedy the situation, which was disappointing.

In the end, the experience didn’t leave us with any reason to return. When I ask myself, “Would I come back?” — the answer, at least for now, is no.

Tacos had a decent amount of meat in them but were fairly dry and flavourless. We think they forgot to put sugar in our lemonade - it tasted like just lime juice and water. Our meal was incredibly expensive for what we got.

Delicious food that is close to genuine Mexican cuisine!

Service can be a little slow (but friendly), food is your typical Canadianized-TexMex fare, but everything was good and they have a good number of vegetarian and vegan options. Prices have gotten extremely high though , especially for the portion size and drinks.

It's good but it's lowkey overpriced and it often tastes like cigarettes (I'm not the only one who finds this taste in the dishes) good service

Very nice place, friendly personnel and excellent service. We had filet mignon for two, but it could easily feed 3 adults. Served in cast-iron bowls that kept it hot for a long time. Moderate prices, excellent mojito.

It's so good and everything we choose, we don't leave a single crumb. Well done to the chef! One problem, no longer operating the ice crusher at the bar, too noisy for the customers seated at the front 😞
