Just an easy lunch with friends. We were three people and it was our first visit to this restaurant but certainly not our last. A wonderful menu accommodating each of us, a meat lover, a vegetarian and a foodie. We really enjoyed our plates. A delicious vegetarian meal size minestrone soup served with the most delicious thin, toasted and heavily buttered sourdough bread. Also a thick beef sandwich with bbq mayo, onions caramélisée also in their wonderful sourdough bread, accompanied by a small serving of the daily soup - a butternut squash and apple purée. Y.U.M.
The ambiance is super casual with an equestrian motif throughout, a roaring fireplace just far enough from the tables and the tables separated enough for privacy.
The wait staff yesterday, a Thursday lunch, was the owner himself, a young guy, very personable and attentive.
Can’t wait to go experience their breakfasts and dinners!

What a beautiful meal my wife and I had this afternoon for lunch. A beautiful smoked chicken breast. A well-stocked plate that’s beautiful to look at. The best espresso I have tasted to date in Magog. A simple, courteous and efficient service. Parking (rare for the City Center of Magog) A must in Magog.

Parking: Easy and several places.

First visit and very pleasantly surprised! We really liked it. Refined cuisine while remaining simple. Very cozy atmosphere and the staff is super nice. A very nice place to share a good time while spoiling your palate!

The service was completely unacceptable slow. The coffee was cold. After 45 minutes of waiting to be served and a complaint from us to that effect, the man in charge (owner?) stupidly told us to leave. I have never been treated so badly in a restaurant. It was my first and last visit!

First the cappuccinos and espresso were lukewarm at best and came without sugar. After the cappuccinos were cold I finally got up to get it myself at the bar.we waited over 45 minutes for the food and when I complained once at 30 minutes then at 45 minutes the owner said I spoke too loud and said I could leave if I wasn’t happy. I was calm but a little frustrated with reason The place wasn’t even busy. They first told me they lost a chef this morning that’s why it was taking so long. I wonder why he walked out???
I saw some dishes go by and wasn’t really looking for my food anyway
The food we ordered were a soup and 2 waffles. Tell me why it’s so long ????
Unacceptable behaviour for an owner.
Up to you to take the chance to go.

Vegetarian options: One dish the soup was the only gluten free dish

Dietary restrictions: No gluten free

Warm, courteous and welcoming atmosphere, refined, peaceful for reflection, seriousness, with pretty photos whatever the circumstances, the setting is incredible, with beautiful wood with a quiet fireplace inside and outside….. In short, a pleasant place that worth the detour for a rather fit and sunny budget…. ✌️??????? Great local food and drinks obviously…chill
The recent decoration is efficient, square, impeccable…
The staff does their job seriously, with a big smile ?….
A place conducive to guitar playing and healing, peace and intellectual and zen recharge... friendly with cooking ? on the armchairs and riding equipment.... In short, the music is also good like that of Jean-Jacques Goldam… in short, laughter ???

Steak called “mignon” on the menu $48 inedible, tough and the same cooking for everyone. Bland fish not too fresh.

Great place if you are looking for more refined cooking. Not cheap, but high quality of ingredients and interesting tastes, not your average bistro food that is so prevalent in other restaurants. Since it is not convenience food that just needs heating the preparation needs a bit longer, don’t expect fast food. Certainly an asset to the Magog dining scene!

We enjoyed an excellent lunch here recently. The pork and tofu sandwiches were both delicious, as was the included leek soup. The setting is lovely, and our server Marc Anthony (the owner) was gracious and friendly. He gave us some great advice on travel to Scotland! We were only in Magog a few days but wished it were longer, as we loved the town and this restaurant.
