No Matane Shrimp meals on the menu. Halibut steak meal was not good. Stella Artois beers were served in Stella Artois glasses, however the beer was cloudy indicating a home brew. Had to ask about the special...moules frites. Disappointed.

We arrived without a reservation but where seated quickly. Our server, Lenia, was wanderful as she did not let us flander with our poor French. Actually her english was excellent. The food was wanderful and the view outstanding. If you are even in Matane, QB, you need to stop. They offer Breakfast and Dinner.

The restaurant was a nice surprise. The salmon tartare was a generous portion — maybe a bit heavy on the sauce, but still tasty. The chowder was excellent, super flavorful, one of the best we’ve had. Service was quick and friendly.
Being right in the hotel makes it all so easy and self-contained. Nice ambience and huge windows with a beautiful view of the sea create a nice backdrop, especially in the evening, where one can enjoy the fire pits from the comfort of one's seat when the night sets in. But also perfect for a morning coffee before heading out. A lovely spot to check out when in Matane.

The atmosphere, the decor, and the staff were top-notch—unfortunately, the food left much to be desired. We ordered the flank steak with fries, added a lobster tail, and tried the shrimp linguine. The steak was unacceptably chewy and clearly of poor quality. The fries tasted stale, as if reheated from an earlier batch—dry and cardboard-like. As for the linguine, the shrimp were puny and lacked any real seafood flavor, while the pasta itself was severely undercooked. Whoever prepared it needs to learn the difference between *al dente* and *chalky*. For the price we paid, our disappointment far outweighed our expectations.
NB: A restaurant like this shouldn’t serve ketchup in packets just like any fast food joint.

Phew service at the Cargo restaurant We were about 10 people As for food I took a squid entree surely there was a major event at sea $19 there was not 1/2 of a squid it was still good Margeritta pizza dinner not too complicated 6/10 our waitress who is passionate about technology only takes care of her cell. Another customer smiled at our waitress, almost pityingly, asking for his meal and another beer. It's a place that I stop often, generally it's very good this evening, really not great, even very poor. Our waitress was more busy on her cell than taking care of the customers I don't think I'll make a stop here again

j'ai mangé une bavette de boeuf, j'ai demandé medium saignante et elle était bien cuite et un petit peu de medium au centre, les accompagnement était tres bons, le service était bien, le lendemain matin, j 'ai pris le déjeuner gourmand c'était bon mais pas vraiment de service, et au 2 ieme souper nous avons arrivez 45 avant notre réservation et il y avait 3 tables libres et impossible pour nous de nous asseoir nous devions attendre au bar pour se rendre compte à 19h30 que les tables en question était toujours vides et qu'il nous offrait cette table, nous avons refusé et décidé de manger au bar, le barman était tres bon et faisait de très bons drink, j'ai mangé les linguines aux crevettes et c'était délicieux

Le plat de Tagliatelle avec pesto d’algues et légumes rôties était très bon et mérite bien un 4 étoiles. La bavette de bœuf avec des vrais frites maison choisie par mon compagnon a pour sa part méritée la note excellente. Le service est courtois et efficace. Je n’hésiterez pas à y revenir.

Lunch is good but dinner is not comparable to the restaurant at the Belle Plage hotel which is much better. To bring back my remaining puzza she gave me the box but I had to put my pizza in the box myself.
