Très très déçu du repas servi lors d’une réservation d’un groupe familial d’environ 70 personnes. Aucun menu à la carte, l’administration nous ont offerts seulement 2 choix de menu pour pour la réception, comme entrée crème de tomate ( très basique)no.1 quelques petits morceaux de rôti de bœuf à chiquer bas de gamme vendu pour de l’émincé de filet mignon au coût de 42$ et no.2 une petite lisière de saumon à peine 3 bouchées vendu pour un pavé de saumon avec une fouère de pomme de terre au coût de 33$. En plus, les enfants ont reçu des jus de pommes qui ont étés dilué avec de l’eau de plus de la moitié, du jamais vu nul part! Et des restaurants, j’en suis vraiment pas à mes premiers visités! Une facture qui nous a fait sursauté pour le service de merde reçu . PLUS JAMAIS JE ME REPRÉSENTERAI À CET ENDROIT!! TOTALEMENT INSATISFAIT!

Food was amazing. Clean place but Service sucked I tried my best to speak French but buddy was a lousy waiter.

Had the spaghetti with baked cheese on top. It was delicious. I had 1/2 order and could not eat it all .
The staff speak French but spoke really good English.

Came to Matane in October and couldn't get a table because it was so busy so we thought we'd try again this summer. With so little choices and so many limited menus, we were looking forward to our final night of vacation.

The food was good. However, the service was so bad I almost threw a fit. Not once did the server come back to our table until we flagged him down for our bill. We would have ordered additional drinks and dessert.

We noticed he was this way with all customers regardless of language, and that his modus operandi was to simply slam meals down and then ignore customers for the remainder of their time.

When we finally managed to get our bill and he handed us a machine he became impatient and tried to grab the machine out of our hands because his friend was waiting for a table at the door and he then ran over and hugged him. No words were exchanged with us whatsoever...

Stayed at the Quality Inn so this was an ideal choice for dinner being within the hotel itself. Very busy although it was Saturday night and there's not much if anything around this part of Matane. The wine list was surprisingly good and varied, the salmon pasta delicious and the lobster burger top drawer. Service was fast, polite and attentive. A lovely meal all round.

I had the chicken wings, flank steak and brownie

I tought the wings were quite good. There isnt really a batter on them but probably some sort of dry rub or seasoning added afterwards as there was a nice flavor to them. They were maybe a bit on the small size but the price was reasonable. I found the BBQ sauce to be quite delicious! So much that I kept it for my mashed potatos.

The service was slow and I would say below average of my experiences

The steak had a really nice gravy, i think it might have been a peppercorns sauce. It was on the tougher side but flank steak is not one I order often so maybe it's normal. The steak knife was OK but I like a sharp knife and I almost never get one that's sharp enough.

I also had the brownie that I enjoyed.

All and all I would come back and I've been here before. I believe my best experience was the ribs. I imagine it's maybe because they use the same BBQ sauce that I loved.

The filet mignon hamberger with choice of side dish was delicious the garlic shrimp starter excellent also the fish and chips were good but lacked a little seasoning like salt and pepper the breading good but cod bland but have a great evening

After asking us to come back in 15 minutes because the restaurant was entertaining a group, we kindly came back at 7:45 p.m., and we were asked again to come back in 1 hour????
Why make us come back...only to be told to come back later without any embarrassment or empathy
