I really liked the general atmosphere of the sugar shack. There were musicians on site and beautiful decoration. The staff was very friendly and proactive. The service was super efficient! For the food, I generally liked it, but I didn't like the pulled ham less. I was also disappointed that there was no bacon and the crepes were not soufflé crepes like we are used to in sugar shacks but rather classic flat crepes. They really stood out with two very original desserts: the maple mousse and the grandfathers in syrup were simply delicious! ? I really liked the little farm, the sheep were gentle and came to eat directly from our hands. It was a great experience overall. ?

We loved our experience. The place is very beautiful with wooden walls and pretty lights. It’s small unlike other sugar shacks which makes the place warmer. There is a really good singer. The staff was smiling and attentive. We will come back :)

Small cabin between family and big business. Classic but refined menu. Very friendly service. Quality products. Traditional and authentic setting. Very reasonable prices.

I loved my experience on 2024-04-21 for the 1600 service. I went there for the first time following the many positive reviews and I was not disappointed. I went there with my partner and our daughter under 2 years old and we all loved our experience. There are several sheep, chickens and rabbits to see before entering the sugar shack. The size of the place is ideal, the atmosphere is very pleasant. There was live music throughout the service which was really cool. I loved everything I ate, whether it was the classic dishes or the desserts. The service given by the employees was excellent. We will come back next year. It is important to book in advance, places are rare on weekends for last minute.

Parking: There is plenty of parking, it was easy to park.

Kid-friendliness: There are high chairs and the employees are very kind to the children.

Food was typical, cabane à sure, comfort food. No complaints, but nothing stood out as memorable either. They had traditional live music going on during the meal, which was lovely, but we were a group of 12, and we could barely talk during our meal are the noise levels made it impossible to hear each other. To note that the dining rooms were also both completely full that night, so this probably added to the overall noise levels. Some of us were seated on wood benches, so after an hour, or so, it became very uncomfortable. The service was efficient, cordial, personalized and very welcoming. Definitely their best asset! Clean, cozy dining rooms with enjoyable lighting, spotless bathrooms, coat racks available at the entrance, large parking lot, small barn/shed with some "farm animals" to pet/feed. Overall, I would recommend.

Vegetarian options: One of our friends ordered the menu with no pork and said it was delicious.

Best pea soup ever, not mushy and perfect balance of seasonings and spices. Everything else is also perfect for my taste. The ham is real shredded ham (for me a little less sweet would have been even more perfect). We are served as much as we want and the staff is up to the task.

J’écris rarement des reviews, mais je souhaitais souligner mon passage aujourd’hui le 14 avril pour le service du dîner. Au pied de l’érable est la réelle définition de ce qu’on s’attends d’une cabane à sucre. Accueil tellement chaleureux qui a débuté dès la réservation au téléphone et qui s’est poursuivi tout le long de notre présence sur le site. Des gens souriants, gentils et clairement fiers de leur entreprise. La nourriture absolument délicieuse, avec mention spécial au porc effiloché, mousse à l’érable et grands-pères dans le sirop 😋 Le site est d’une propreté irréprochable, une ambiance douce, où on s’entends parler et où on peut prendre notre temps pour déguster leur délicieux petits plats. Le kiosque de tire est vraiment mignon, et on pense même aux petits doigts collants et aux bouches assoiffées. Honnêtement bravo. 10/10. Nous reviendrons assurément.

Family cabin on a human scale. Warm decor and service. Traditional sugar shack dishes. We happily return there year after year.

Like every year during sugaring season with the children we go to the sugar shack and each time we are disappointed, but this year we decided to change shacks, we went to the shack at the foot of the maple tree . The food, the eggs soufflé, the cretons, the pea soup, the service and above all the proximity to the owners Nathalie and her partner Étienne wow, dedicated people they received us like kings, they took the time with us to chat with us make a little visit, even my daughter received an apron, I didn't have the impression of being like a number like everywhere else, you reconciled us with the sugar shack I can't wait for next year thank you again from the whole Bénard Query family

My new favorite sugar shack. Super good food, quick and courteous service. The only downside is the long queue at the checkout. Go pay when it's dessert time.
