Chez M. Patate serves surprisingly good food, particularly their poutine, which boasts well-balanced flavors, good cheese, and crispy, thick-cut fries. The burgers are solid, too. While the atmosphere is somewhat marred by worn benches and an occasional wasp problem, the restaurant's location near a baseball field offers ample parking. Be prepared for slow service and bring cash, as credit card facilities are not nearby.
