We stood out very clearly as 3 Southeast Asians and yet not once did we feel unwelcome, both the people who run the place and other visitors were very kind. Food is unpretentious and as good as other visitors reported, we really enjoyed ourselves and the drive out from montreal, and if you are too full after the meal there is a park nearby to walk in (Bois de Belle-Rivière, paid admission). Tune your ear and tongue to French and you’ll have a great time
I enjoyed my experience at this sugar shack. The service was quick and the food excellent. The place is clean and there is also a small animal farm for children. There was unlimited taffy which was appreciated. We'll go back there for sure.
