The food is great however, the salade we got the last few times had pieces that were bad, red and slimy as if the lettuce was rotten or gone bad. We had to filter out the pieces that were bad from the salade. Was a big chunk of it. Tomatoes too were very mushy and not fresh. The chicken, potatoes and rice were amazing as always.
I ordered three meals online for takeout. I ordered them online in advance and had to wait 15 minutes for them to be ready (It was 15 minutes after opening so not very busy). But that's not what frustrated me the most. I was charged $6 for a tip I didn't give (it's a carry-out meal after all) when ordering online. The tip was added and seen when confirming the order by email. I even went through all the steps of an order to check if I hadn't seen something...
The Portuguese cuisine of this restaurant is delicious, the meat is well cooked and tasty, plus the texture is perfect without being dry. People looking for flavors will find happiness there.
