L'an passé, j'ai envoyé un courriel mentionnant que la qualité du café n'était pas au rendez-vous Voici un extrait du message envoyé: Je vais à votre café depuis longtemps. J'ai plusieurs fois mentionné que la préparation pourrait s'améliorer sans qu'il en coûte quoi que ce soit. Malheureusement, il ne vous semble pas important de vous améliorer. Pour ma part, me faire servir un café en sous extraction est l'équivalent de me faire servir du poulet ou un gâteau pas cuit. À 5$ le café pourboire inclus, je m’attend à ce que le café soit parfait. Une petite formation et l’achat d’une petit balance avec chronomètre inclus à 100$ pourrait vous faciliter la vie et satisfaire vos clients. Il n’est pas réaliste d’ajuster la mouture au 3 ou 4 semaines. Le café, c’est vivant et ça change à tous les jours. J'avais cessé d'y aller depuis. La semaine passée, comme j'étais dans le coin de Ste-Julie, j'ai donné une autre chance à "Chez Cheval". Même constat: temps d'extraction à 8 secondes et le porte filtre à la température de la pièce. C'est triste de voir le manque de considération envers les clients de la part d'un chef propriétaire. C'est donc définitivement terminé pour moi. Si vous êtes un amateur de bon café, vous êtes maintenant prévenu. Perso, j'achète mon café chez Julius. C'est un passionné qui vend des cafés d'exceptions Il vend en gros et donne de la formation Juste de même....

Good coffee and delicious pastries with the best view. Visiting Chez Cheval before a hike into the mountains has already become a favorite tradition! ☕️⛰️

Very good vegetarian sandwich. However, we bought an apple crisp, but when we asked them if they could reheat it for us they told us they could but didn't want to.

I ordered a hot flat white, but got a very semi-hot one, which was neither hot or cold! Coffee was also not worth the price

I was served by Annick this morning, she added sunshine to my day, they make the best iced coffee I have tasted. Excellent restaurant!

First visit of many to come.
A great discovery, this little café. It allowed me to work a little on a project with a friend while discussing and savoring the best Moka that I have had the pleasure of tasting in a very long time with the delicious almond croissant.

Malheureusement, la succursale de Mont-Saint-Hilaire me déçoit à chaque visite. Premièrement, les tables sont toujours sales et les chaises extrêmement inconfortables. Les cafés ne sont pas préparés tels que demandés, les prix sont élevés (25% plus cher qu’ailleurs au moins) et le service est très lent. Les verres en carton utilisés font que le café goûte le carton. J’aurais tellement aimé recommander ce café…

Great service and nice ambiance. Croissants were excellent. Will definitely be returning!
