Koh Tao

A group of 4 of us visited Koh Tao last Wednesday evening. We arrived on time and were given a table promptly . The restaurant was maybe 1/2 full.
And then we waited. It took 1/2 hour to get our drinks, nothing fancy. They took our order and we waited over 1 hour for our next serving. One of my table guests went to the kitchen to offer some help to get our service. Other tables , came after us and were already eating before our barely warm, not so peanutty peanut butter dumplings arrived. The other dishes were warm, but hardly memorable.
I do give kudos to our server ( Carl?). He was well aware our the lengthy delay, but his hands were tied by the kitchen staff lack of preparation skills.
I wont be returning .

I ordered the Thai Coco Chicken Curry through Uber Eats and was very disappointed. The broth was watery, and lacked the depth of flavour I expected. It also had an unusual aftertaste that made it difficult to eat after the first bite. Overall, it felt unauthentic and not representative of true Thai cuisine. Unfortunately, this was my first and likely last time ordering from here. I hope the restaurant takes this feedback into consideration for improvement.

Very good evening, a little noisy (room configuration), despite a nice musical atmosphere, very warm welcome, we will come back (and we will order dinner at home) :).

The general tao sauce was diluted very watery. The chicken seemed reheated not freshly cooked. The filet mignon was good in my bowl but I had lots of shredded carrots and cabbage. For the price it wasn't worth it.

For a very affordable price, I was treated to a succulent, vegetarian table d’hôte. Every service exceeded my expectations. I recommend X1000!
