The location is excellent and the building looks great from the outside. Our room had a kitchenette which was great. However, our experience was very disappointing. The room was dirty and in poor condition. Very few electrical outlets and not easily accessible. Tiles were missing in the elevator floor causing people to trip. I witnessed a few including myself. There is a free shuttle which is very useful, however, the overall experience is definitely not 4-star hotel as per their claim. We were there just a few days, and I don't think I will go back.

Hotel staff totally fraudulently misrepresented the agreement with respect to deposit required and cancellation fees. Was told only one night's deposit would be taken and the penalty of 10% levied on that amount. Not only did they take the full amount out of my credit card they levied the 10% on the full amount. Unacceptable TG

I had been to Tremblant before and had never stayed in this hotel. However it was more then I expected. It has all the good things one would expect of a resort. Plus it has a shuttle service to the village and other attractions and restaurants in town which was an added benefit. A special thanks to Sylvie at the front reception desk who went over and beyond to improve our experience last Saturday. We truly had a great experience all around.

Not up to accessibility standards. I’ve stayed here with my family multiple times. I’ve always liked this hotel, the outdoor pool, hot tub, balconies, location, scenery, comfortable beds. This was the first time coming with my younger son who uses a wheelchair. Yes, there was an elevator, but that’s about it. He could access the pool, but the door going outside needs a little ramp; it’s too high off the ground. He could not access the hot tub, although there is a gate where he could access it but it’s locked?? He could not access the grounds, but this could be an easy fix if they removed some big rocks. A pool seat-lift would be a great addition to support those who need assistance. He could not access our balcony, we had to lift him over the very high ledge. The kitchen amenities are very high - even too high for me - so he could not be independent there either. Many of these adjustments could be easy to fix, they need to take the time. It’s not fair for people with mobility issues and it’s very hard on the parents physically to do this heavy lifting so many times every day when we are supposed to be “relaxing.” Also, do not take a room on the main floor if you have accessibility issues. You cannot go from your balcony to the grounds/pool because of some big rocks in between. It would be helpful for them to re-landscape. Also, our neighbour below was smoking for 2 days and it’s all we could smell on our balcony. It made me sick. The hotel staff seemed aversive to dealing with it and I had to speak to the other guest myself. Also not relaxing. So that was quite disappointing. It is a great hotel for families if you don’t have to deal with these issues. But they really should open the indoor pool again and have a functioning restaurant as these are amenities that most people very much value. We had to do a lot of grocery shopping trips. It would be better to have a full size fridge as well to accommodate the fact that you can’t get food nearby. Special kudos to the cleaning and maintenance staff who did a great job helping us when we needed it! I do recommend asking about the cleaning policies. There are things we would not have known to do if we hadn’t asked (ie exchanging towels, sweeping the debris on balcony, getting more coffee, etc)

Château Beauvallon must of been the nicest resort in the area many years ago. Now at first glance, the place needs upgrades like a paint job, including balconies although we noticed some improvements since our last visit in March. The pros: Nice outdoor and private backyard, family resort with many children enjoying the pool. Staff is polite and they do their best. The main public space is welcoming and well maintained. The units are well divided, just very dark due to poor lighting. Nice view of the pool. Beds are comfortable, linen clean. The cons: interior of the units need to be refreshed and dusted! Doors and cupboards handles were very sticky, same with stove, counter top, dishwasher and microwave. No outlets in the bedroom to plug your iphone. No air conditioning in the bedroom, only in the main area. Blankets were full of hair, carpet stained. It can be a downer at first but if you have lysol and wipes, it's a 10 minute job and you can enjoy your stay. Overall, it's acceptable. Voilà!

We enjoyed our stay. The outdoor pool and hot tub were lovely and there was even a lifeguard! Our teens has a great time in the lounge playing pool. We especially liked the shuttle which was on demand and very quick to get to tremblant- can't beat free parking at the hotel combined with free shuttle available anytime for a 5-minute drive to the resort village. Our room was clean and had enough space for us. A lot of reviews mentioned the hotel needs renovation and doesn't have enough staff. Some things are a little dated but it looks like they are working on updating them and everything was clean. The indoor pool was closed but it didn't matter since the outdoor pool was open. I think they were a little short staffed but the staff they had were very nice and accommodating. Thanks for a great trip!

Major ongoing renovations on site were not disclosed at booking. They email me 4 time to tell me the pool was closed but did not message me to tell me there would be a backhoe moving dirt in the early morning. The king bed was awful, probably very old. We tried the hide a bed and it was full of springs. Almost slept on the carpet.Wifi stopped working in the evening for the whole nightAlmost no power outlet in the room.In the bathroom there was a weird stain that looked like mold behind the toilet. We booked 2 nights and asked for a refund for the 2nd night. Our request was denied by the hotel, we checked out after one night and will not be coming back. Because our comments were completely ignored, we will also make sure to tell all my colleagues, friends and family to book somewhere else. The scotch bar was full of empty bottles, the bartender had no clue about any of the bottles, and he did not take the right bottle when we ordered, we had to tell him it was not the right bottle. We felt like he was not happy to see us, the bar was not very welcoming. We ordered pints of beer and the bartender served it in small glasses. When we told him that was not 20oz he transferred it in bigger glasses. The room maintenance staff was listening to french rap in the hallways at 8amThe babyfoot table did not work. The pinball machine stole my money and the spring to launch the ball was broken, the pool table got stuck a few times but worked. It was not straight and we could see the ball follow curves on the table. Its a shame to have defective coin operated machines in a 4 star hotelI stayed in a 3 star hotel a few weeks ago that was way better than my experience at Chateau Beauvallon. If only I was refunded for my second night.. I was not even there. Shame on the management for not taking my comments seriously. All you had to do was refund me my second night. My advice as a local guide is simple : Avoid Chateau Beauvallon at all cost.Management can make this right, you have my name and you have my contact info.

Booked through VRBO with friends. The hotel and property looked amazing on brochures and images, but in person it needs some significant attention. Paint is peeling outside, the decor and rooms were badly outdated inside...they seemed to be suffering from staff shortages and increased wage demands like the lower48...but the staff that was there working was extremely nice! Pros: great location minutes drive from village, staff could not be friendlier...slightly less expensive than some other options ski-in/out in the village. (It is not ski-in/out but they have a very reliable shuttle.) The linens and pillows were fresh daily. Kitchen was nice but not fully stocked. Cons: the breakfast restaurant was closed, the indoor pool was completely empty, the outdoor pool was closed and empty, the bar was closed (we were told no bartender, quit), the 4 BR 3BA condominium we booked needed a complete renovation, all 3 showers had mold across walls and floor and leaked water, the rooms needed deep cleaning and new carpet, there was only 1-2 power outlets in each bedroom and a 6 foot extension cord running across floor to plug phones and electronics, the smart TVs were all internally deactivated from the network wi-fi no streaming any movies, only Canadian TV channels available. Kitchen was functional but not fully stocked. It would take considerable work, but this could be a 5-star gem!

This hotel is an absolute disaster. After requesting an early check-in, we sat in the lobby awaiting the cleaning of our room. After an hour and a half, at 5 minutes after 4pm (standard check-in time) I inquired on the status of our room and was told they would try to find something and "it's the busiest time of the year", it was a Wednesday! The manager (Alex/Alec) was rude and indicated it was only 5 minutes after check-in time but he failed to take into account my request for an early check-in and the fact that I had to approach him to ask about the status of our room AFTER THE STANDARD CHECK-IN TIME! The room he "found for us" hadn't been vacuumed and, upon opening the microwave, there were two plates of old spaghetti with red sauce sitting in it from the prior guests. In disbelief, I looked up at the ceiling to see spaghetti stuck to the ceiling! We had no choice but to settle in traveling with a 5 and 7 year old and after doing so, I went to bring these issues to Alec, he was nowhere to be found and the cleaning staff had gone for the day. The staff at the front desk advised that they would leave a note and I would receive at call in the early morning. I never received a call and we left to go skiing. WHEN WE RETURNED FROM SKIING, THE SPAGHETTI WAS STILL IN THE MICROWAVE AND ON THE CEILING!!! In disgust, I brought the plates down to the lobby and Alec indicated he was never informed and indicated it was a mistake asking "have you ever made a mistake"! He offered 20% off our stay. Thanks but for the "4-star resort" this place was horrendous. Indoor pool closed, restaurant closed, "renowned" scotch bar closed, moldy ice from the ice machine, the whole place should be shuttered. We could have stayed at several other local options that would undoubtedly be better for similar cost. Yuck!

We had a horrible experience with this hotel for Christmas and would recommend to stay away. To be honest I have never written a review on a hotel, but this was that bad. They lost power for the most part of 3 days (maybe more???) during the storm and did not communicate this with any incoming reservations. I only knew this because we almost drove on the day of the massive storm and called to ask if they would consider not charging us for that night since it was considered a once on a generation storm and we had to drive almost 7 hours. Of course they said no! Now let’s move on-What kind of hotel does not have a generator that is 4 stars? The worst part was how they dealt with it. The only person we were able to speak to was one reservation agent who worked from home and was unable to get in touch with anyone at the hotel (oh yeah his hours were 10-5, otherwise there was NO ONE to speak to). The general manager and any management was no where to be found and they ruined many peoples Christmas Eve and day. We were coming from 6.5 hours away and it was a difficult drive after the storm and no one could tell us if they had power. They also told us that we could not get a refund despite the fact that they had no power. After much argument, they agreed to a credit which was not useful to many people. We were finally told the power was back on and got to the hotel at around 7pm and low and behold we were told now there is no power again until 730am the next morning due to an electrical issue in the basement where fire trucks were there. There was only 1 person at the front desk who basically was not able to deal with many of the people who were quite upset. They had 1 staff in the entire hotel for customer service after a third day with no power and power only supposedly coming back on at 730 the next morning. What a nightmare.

We stayed at the Horizon II condos which are managed by the owners of Chateau Beauvallon. We drive an electric vehicle which I mentioned to the Tremblant rep who booked our stay, on one of our earlier calls. We booked the Horizon condo after confirming that electric chargers would be available. When we arrived, the gentleman who checked us in at Chateau Beauvallon had no clue if they were available or not. He then proceeded to give us the wrong instructions to get into our unit and what code worked for which entry point. This caused us a delay of one hour to get into our unit. We were traveling with my elderly in laws who were distressed waiting with our luggage at the entryway of the condo. They needed to use the washroom and could not enter the building as we were on hold awaiting assistance. A woman by the name of Madeline, at Chateau Beauvallon was kind yet uninformed of the basics of how to enter the building. We eventually figured it out after trying every code provided to us on the page. The code for the entry to the building was not specified. We also could not access ANY electric vehicle charging units in the garage despite there being an electric vehicle charger located three spots down from where we parked. It had a lock on it. That spot was empty for the duration of our stay. We told them we needed to charge our vehicle so we could return home, that there was a charger as promised yet it was locked. We were told that the owner refused to give us access to it. When I am paying upwards of $1600 for a unit for three days, it is ludicrous that a simple Car charger would not be unlocked for our use. This issue cost us over 4 hours of phone time on our first day. That was four hours of a 48 hour vacation. Not only that but it largely ruined our experience for the first day of our stay. It was the exact opposite of what we went on vacation for and also the complete opposite as the service and hospitality we have received from Tremblant in our 12 years or vacationing multiple times a year. I have to say though that I am most disappointed that despite three emails, two phone conversations and multiple other phone attempts, tourism Tremblant could not be bothered to follow up on this matter or offer even a basic apology. Absolutely horrible customer service on this trip which may well be our last despite vacationing in Tremblant multiple times a year over the last twelve years. After speaking with several people at Chateau Beauvallon (in those multiple phone calls totaling four hours) my husband got a call back and was told that whoever told us that a charger would be available (you) did not know what they were saying. I am attaching a screenshot from the Tremblant website. image0.jpeg Between our issues not being able to get into our unit and the lack of basic access to a charger for our electric vehicle, my entire first day of vacation was shot. I am extremely disappointed with this stay, particularly when paying the price point we did.

Understanding these times are trying for any business now due to economic recovery and staffing issues, we tried to be as patient as we could. Sadly, the state of our 3 bedroom suite was appalling (carpets were extremely stained and gross), unsanitary issues that would take a simple wipe to clean. We were told housekeeping would come the next day when we were out...we never saw them once in the 4 days we were here. Went back to the front desk again to speak with a manager and was told there was staffing issues. The one day we decided to swim, the outdoor pool was closed because their lifeguard just didn't show up. The restaurant was closed (which we didn't know before getting here), the bar was closed, indoor pool was closed, and we were very disappointed that the outdoor pool was closed to top it off. The front staff tried their best to accommodate the many grumbles of disappointment. Outside on our patio, it was littered with cigarette butts and garbage. During our stay, we never saw any groundskeeper or maintenance, but there may have been one, we are unsure. We felt that the beds were wonderful, sheets were clean, and that was the best part of our experience. Such a beautiful spot but so much love and care needed. Hopefully a larger corporation can buy it and give it and the community a proper renovation to offer better quality for people spending good money for a relaxing holiday environment. We certainly felt it was not worth the $2400 spent, unfortunately.

I kept telling my son one day we would hike all the way to top of Summit, , Today that dream came true it was the most beautiful and previous feeling reaching top of Summit with my son, a memory that will stay in my heart forever.

We stayed here from Friday to Sunday Victoria Day long weekend (the big storm). We were a party of 5 adults and one toddler in the big 2 suite room. The place was great, costumer service was amazing, the room was clean, spacious and very comfortable. Overall we had an amazing experience, until the storm hit. There was a complete blackout in the area and we left Sunday morning with still no electricity. We made do and still enjoyed the rest of our stay. Obviously this is absolutely not the staff’s fault but many guests felt the need to be belligerently rude to the staff who were trying their best in such a difficult situation. I have to say, thank you so much for everything and for making our stay as comfortable as you could. We will definitely be back!
