Le Bistro at Bel Air Tremblant

Beautiful place, lots of potential, unfortunately the service and food did not live up to our expectations. We were a big group, everyone ate separately, half of each table had finished their plates while the other half had not received anything. The service was pretty ordinary, especially since I didn't receive what I ordered, so I ate by myself and it wasn't very good. The service was done according to the invoices, I advise you not to mention how the invoices will be paid at the beginning if you want to avoid eating separately.

Modification after receiving a response: I would like to clarify that it was never mentioned, when the reservation was made, that we wanted to be served by order of invoice (since that is what the restaurant is trying to imply in its message). Also, I didn't mention that the others enjoyed what they ate, on the contrary... I only mentioned that my experience was ridiculously bad since I was served what I had NOT ordered and it took 20 minutes before I received what I had really ordered. THANKS!

Yesterday morning, I had the pleasure of having an exceptional breakfast in a restaurant that deserves to be discovered. The meal was a delight: perfectly cooked fried eggs, accompanied by crispy fried potatoes, flavorful bacon and freshly grilled wholemeal toast. The coffee, on the other hand, was hot and rich in aromas, ideal for a good start to the day.

What made this experience truly unique was the unusual setting of the restaurant. We enjoyed our meal in a dome with transparent walls, offering a breathtaking view of the surrounding snow and the forest that surrounded us. Although we were surrounded by nature, the space was pleasantly heated, which added to the comfort of the experience. This fusion between the charm of the exterior and the comfort of the interior made this breakfast an unforgettable moment.

If you are looking for a place where the quality of the food rivals the originality of the place, I highly recommend this restaurant for a breakfast that is out of the ordinary.

Incredible meal. Food and service was amazing. Amazing seasonal menu with huge portions full of flavor and fine culinary technique. Very impressive work by Chef Julien. Highlights included the fresh morel mushroom sauce and decadent strawberry Melba. Will absolutely return for lamb shoulder and other incredible dishes.

The absolute worst dining experience I have ever had in my life. It was honestly embarrassing how truly terrible the service was. Drinks took forever to show up and many of which had to be reordered. The food was ridiculously overpriced for the quality that was being presented. The steaks were the worst cut of meat I’ve ever seen and you could easily find better quality meat at a dive bar. Our steaks were sent back 3 times and still were never cooked as per request. The server was not forth coming with trying to amend the situation but eventually agreed to comp the steaks. Unfortunately this entire dining experience was time lost that I’ll never get back. Don’t waste your time and definitely don’t waste your money.

TLDR: TERRIBLE service, expensive prices for mediocre food.

Came in for dinner as a group of 8 and had one of the worst dining experiences. We are not hard to please people and we really don’t like to complain but the series of mistakes that occurred are ridiculous to the point of comical. The waiter forgot one of our drink orders. He offered the table bread that he never brought. He offered to bring an ice bucket for our bottle of wine, that never came. We asked to replace a dirty fork and was never brought a new one. The menu had a lamb dish for 2 as well as a smaller dish for one. We specified we wanted the lamb dish for 2 multiple times while the waiter was taking our order. We got the lamb for 1. He never offered to bring us the lamb for 2 but offered a steak instead, fine. 3/4 steaks for the table were undercooked. We asked for medium rare - medium steak and they were all rare. 2/4 people in our group had to send the steaks back 2-3 times before it was cooked to more than rare. On the menu was a 14oz striploin but we got a very thinly cut piece of ribeye which the kitchen staff could not be bothered to know how to cook. The food that did come out correctly was mediocre at best. We tried to get someone’s attention to bring the bill so we could leave and the female bartender looked at us dead in the eyes while we waved our hands and completely ignored us and didn’t bother to communicate with the server. And on top of all that, the fire alarm went off during dinner contributing to a very chaotic and smoky atmosphere. In the end, all of our steaks were comped but it still wasn’t worth the money we paid for everything else.

Really disappointed with the food, dishes not representative of the photos on the internet, no taste and exorbitant prices for the quality and quantity of food. I felt like I was missing something reheated. No guarantee of living the bubble experience even if the reservation was made for this purpose. On the other hand, excellent service.

Wow, a great discovery! We're not from the area and this will give us a good reason to go back. We were very well received, our waitress was very friendly and what can I say about the food! Succulent and comforting! Beautiful cozy and warm atmosphere. Special mention to the chef who came to greet us with his good humor!

We had a terrible experience at this restaurant. They were severely understaffed, and although our waiter was doing his best, he mentioned that there were only two people managing the entire restaurant and just two in the kitchen. As a result, the service was painfully slow, the food was subpar, and the overall experience was extremely disappointing. I hope the hotel improves its staffing for the rest of the season and ensures that the kitchen staff is given the tools and support needed to prepare quality meals.

Just awful service- waited over 45 minutes after we ordered to tell me that 3/7 at the table needed to order new food since they are out of their food. The service staff are not attentive and the restaurant has less than half of the tables being used.

Such a cute and unique place to dine!
We stayed at the resort for the night and had breakfast here. Service was good. Breakfast was very delicious and the Dome seatings were very cool!
We ordered the benedict and the french omelette, both were very delicious and fresh!
Definitely recommend this place if you want a unique dining experience!
