We were there for the buffet style lunch during our stay at the Fairmont Tremblant. We loved the options, the Greek yogurt and chia bar, the bread bar, the custom cooked omelets and pastries and much more. The crepes are delicious and the smoothie was loved by my daughter. The included lattes and cappuccinos were the little “extra” that won our hearts, as well as the Japanese lunch bar (rice, side dish and miso soup) temporarily set up for the week.

Vegetarian options: Buffet style lunch, there is something for everyone.

Dietary restrictions: Buffet style lunch, there is something for everyone. Some sections indicate that it may contain nuts.

Kid-friendliness: A cereal bar is available for children who don't like to break their habits. We were offered orange juice when we arrived and my youngest received a Crayola coloring book from “Colors of the World” to pass the time.

After the 30 minutes of waiting for eggs Benedict that were not cooked and had asked with streaky bacon left it on back bacon for my partner
While my Poached eggs were uncooked and
swimming in a pool of water ate the sausage
and potatoes paid left

Only good things were the fresh juice and tea
And the waiter was accommodating to the
issue of the food.

Warning everyone, this restaurant is in a crisis!!!We stayed at the Fairmont Tremblant, which is usually ok.We had a party of 5 hungry teenagers, and 2 adults after a day on the slopes, and dinner took 2 hrs to be served. The riccotta ravioli was flavourless, dried out and freezer burnt, without enough sauce.Three orders of that, none eaten. The Caesar salad resembled no Caesar salad any of us had ever seen or eaten, and was bitter and flavourless, yellowed lettuce.Really ,really awful.Veal rolls were baked in an oven for 15 mins with raw tomato pasata poured over them, very low quality cubes of mozzarella barely melted, sauce was completely flavourless and tasted like raw canned tomatoes.Embarrassingly bad.Waitress was pleasant but inattentive, and did nothing when we politely expressed concern about how bad the food was.I was charged $600.00 for this atrocious mess of a dinner.I formally complained at the front desk,to avoid a scene at the restaurant, which was busy and not functioning well.I was given nothing by the Fairmont in the form of an apology or a discount. If this food was served at any other Fairmont restaurant,it would be a citywide scandal.Steer well clear of “le comptoir” ,they only seem to be interested in overcharging horrendously, for inedible garbage. This restaurant needs to redo its menu ,and get a new chef immediately. This restaurant is not even close to the high standard Fairmont Hotels claim to represent.

Le Comptoir was ... adequate. The service was very good, the server super competent and friendly. The food was ... not as good as next door at the Choux Gras (even though the kitchen is the same as is the wine list). The portions were ... skimpy. I had the saltimboca: interesting presentation, but ultimately not satisfying. Others had the confit de canard - very good and the lasagna, also very good. The deserts were excellent. Going back to Choux tonight.

Ridwane

Surprised by the negative reviews! My husband and I were very happy with the food and service. Friendly, fast service and the food was delicious. I got a pasta and my husband got pizza. We got the olives, soup and focaccia to start which were equally great! Atmosphere is nice and would definitely recommend!

Went to dinner at 6:30 PM and the food was good not great. We were in the other restaurant the night before and the food was great. My wife had the Cod and I had the Veal Saltimbocca. Bothe were OK the Cod was a bit fishy and the Saltimbocca was served with tomato sauce not the traditional sauce for that particular dish and the tomato sauce was bland. I had the Ceasar salad as a first course and my wife had the Focaccia bread both were fantastic.

Asked for caesar with no bacon, due to my religion I cannot eat it.But waiter brought me with bacon. Then I asked to bring the correct order and there was bacon again. Are you kidding me?Cook did not even care to make a new salad, they just picked up the bacon pieces from the old one.

We really enjoyed our experience at Le Comptoir! Our server was very informative and attentive! She explained the menu and answered any questions we had. The food was delicious there was nothing left over!

Decent meal Should be offered bread with the charcuterie board. Also not big portions so the bread is helpful in that regard. In the hotel so so not have to wait in line elsewhere if do not have reservations

The service was so incredibly slow. It took almost an hour to get drinks served. The food was decent, but overpriced for the experience. They need help with management to make things run smoother and make the overall experience better.

Everything was great however for the value there wasn't a lot of choice they you would normally see in a buffet...family friendly, nice ambience and you're @Fairmont Hotel

When we booked online there was nothing to say that it would be a buffet only. And cancelling would have charged us regardless. My husband is gluten free and celiac and in the buffet and he was very limited in his options. More so than what was on the menu. The buffet price was outrageous for the food selection.
