Upbeat and warm atmosphere with a great patio as well. Service was welcoming and friendly. Food was very good and the hot stone meals were unique and tasty.

La pierrade C'est la vie and La Mers were Excellent as well as all the apetisers prior to the main course. The wine suggestion was also perfect with the meal. Nadine our hostess did an outstanding service upon our arrival with a very warm welcome and also was vert attentive our our needs during our meal from beginning to end. Nadine was very professional, assured that our expectations were met, and was extremely attentive and freindly. I highly recommend this establishment. Bravo Fabien for your wonderful restaurant. Thank you very much

Unique dining experience with dinner on a hot stone. So many choices common and unique. I had the beef, chicken and seal. The seal has the texture slightly similar to liver BUT DEFINITELY NOT the taste. It’s very good. Duck leg was deliciously tender. Dessert we had a cherry compote and a tiramisu.

Food was good but service was not - waiter was always running and had difficulty answering our questions. On top of that, we found out that the restaurant created a daily special which was a combination of 3 dishes but priced it higher than the 3 prices added. Very inelegant to trick the client!

Food was okay, and usually that’s all I look for. We found a long blonde hair. Unfortunately when we asked the staff about it and were met with an eye roll. We were extremely casual about it but asked for a replacement. At first they acknowledged the hair but once we asked for a replacement we were met with a defensive and aggressive response gaslighting us that the hair was not there, even after acknowledging it. After a 2 minute conversation we decided it wasn’t worth a fight for a clean plate and moved on. We continued to be harassed by the waitresses who snickered and intentionally spoke about us so we could hear. They continued to belittle us for asking for a clean plate on multiple occasions even mimicking us and the phrase “can I please have a replacement” multiple times throughout our meal. I was speechless I couldn’t enjoy the meal I was looking forward to and am heartbroken to have experienced this.

For our wedding anniversary we went here and another restaurant. This was the most expensive of the two and the other restaurant was miles above this one in terms of quality. The onion soup was mediocre, I had a full duck breast and either it was the smallest duck or they didn't give it entirely. (I cook duck on a regular basis) it was also poorly cooked and bland. The wine list was boring and the bottle we were interested in wasn't even available. The service was decent but lacked enthusiasm. I think this restaurant is meant to impress tourists who aren't used to high quality dining experiences. While nothing was actually bad (why im giving 3 stars and not 2 or 1) Nothing was good or great. A very forgettable experience.

We had a wonderful meal at C'est la vie. We started with the goat cheese and honey appetizer, which was served with a green salad and was absolutely delicious. I had a pierrade with rack of lamb, filet mignon and shrimp. It comes with fries and three different sauces, and was delicious. You can cook your meet to taste on the hot stone, and it also keeps it hot throughout your meal. My husband had the Candian plate - elk, bison and venison. He said it was delicious and his only feedback was that it would have been good to know which meat was which. We were too full for dessert, but the selection looked delicious. We would definitely go back.

This place is just PERFECT for a "date" or for a good meal with family or friends. Pierrad is a very original and delicious dish, me and my friend loved this dish. Cooking your own meat is a very cool idea. The service 10/10, we didn't miss anything throughout the meal. The atmosphere is very warm. And everything was very good. In short, go if you won't regret it.

We decided to give them a second chance. We are very satisfied with our dinner except that they were very busy.

There were 6 of us for the Thursday special at $30. Everything was delicious, from starter to dessert. And very good service.
