They oysters and scallop appetizers were both amazing and the scallop entree was out of this world delicious!

Overall it was great. The service was especially outstanding and the atmosphere/ vibe is perfect. The dishes were well composed and prepared but lacked a bit of seasoning / flavor for me. I would definitely go back , just didn't find anything particularly memorable. My partner and I split 4 appetizers and our own entrees so we definitely tried a lot of dishes.

A ver classy and classic place to dine. Had fresh oysters to start followed by steak tartar. Both excellent fresh and tasty. Plus a Bloody Mary and a Diet Coke. New Year's Day. The big brunch was sold out. Such a wonderful meal. Our maître d was fantastic as was the service. Thank you

What a unique setting and wonderful experience on a beautiful winter Sunday afternoon. Short drive from Vermont. The food and wine were delicious - oysters, trout, beet salad and venison. All prepared and served perfectly. We walked the grounds after and I'd highly recommend a visit to manoir hovey and Le Tap Room! We will be back!

We started celebrating American Thanksgiving at Manoir Hovey at least 8 years ago, and in most, if not all, of those years, Warren has been our maître d' and server. Warren's attention to us and to every detail spoils us with his service—never intrusive, always kind, patient, and professional. His demeanor is consistently welcoming and observant. KUDOS & CHEERS for all of Warren's team. The food, every step of the way, is consistently exquisite, with delightful surprises from oysters to fries to trout to Gaspé crab roulade to dessert with cranberry ice cream. KUDOS & CHEERS for the chef and all of his team. And Warren remembered we love the local White North rye whiskey. So smooth, we had two. The complete team made us feel like their most special guests. As did Nidhal and the entire reception team, who did the needful to take care of our car, including getting it (a PHEV) completely charged while we enjoyed our lunch. The ambience is warm, cozy (we always get a table by the fireplace), and infinitely classy and relaxing. CHEERS We took visitors to Le Tap during the summer and sat on the patio, and it was a wonderful experience. We can't wait until the next time we get to go to Le Tap Room at Manoir Hovey. CHEERS

Ambiance calme et cosy, très confortable. Le service est vraiment agréable et attentionné. Le cadre est magnifique, et les plats, simples mais raffinés, rendent l'expérience encore plus plaisante. Une très belle découverte !

Amazing food, outstanding service, and delightful atmosphere!! I had a blue cheese salad to start and trout for the main dish - both were delicious. The staff were so friendly and seemed to really enjoy being there. I’m heading to Manoir Hovey again in December and already look forward to eating at Le Tap Room again!

We love love love Manoir Hovey and its restaurants. Le Tap Room was especially wonderful last night as the wait staff took extra time to explain the menu and answer questions for my daughter. The food (I had a cabbage salad to start and trout for the main dish) was incredible leaving nothing wanting. Thank you!!!

Très belle expérience autant au niveau culinaire que pour le service. Très bons conseils pour l'accord des mets avec le vin. Je recommande!!!

Nous avons été déçu de la qualité de la nourriture Tous les plats étaient beaucoup trop gras contrairement à nos autres visites à ce restaurant. C'est un restaurant qu'on apprécie habituellement, mais pas cette fois-ci.

The food was terrible compared to the day before. Consequently it was over priced for what we were fed.

Expensive, but a unique location and excellent service. For lunch, we ordered the Hatley salad ( like a Caesar with chicken), and the gnocchi. Both were quite generous servings and delicious. Beware of the high top tables, as they were difficult for some older guests to sit at.

We were visit cantons l’est and found this quite charming restaurant. We were not staying at the manoir, but it was well worth the detour. The service professional and you could tell the waiters enjoyed their work. Lunch was amazing, took gnocchi- home made and not too large, tartar done with a knife. The desert was nice . Service and decor very nice. We now have another place to come to near North Harley.
