The menu features decent food with generous portions, including a good omelette and ham. The sugar taffy is offered in a container with snow, making it easy to transport and maintain its consistency. The maple syrup for sale is a bit disappointing with a slightly bitter taste.
The sugar shack offers a price for 13 to 17-year-olds and the portions are unlimited. The food is homemade and varied, with excellent and impeccably prepared dishes. The service is courteous and professional.
However, there is room for improvement. The pudding chômeur could be served hot, and doggy bags should be allowed for leftovers. It would be better to have two different lines for with and without reservations, and people without reservations should not pass in front of people with reservations when there is a delay.
