I just have to say WOW. We are traveling with two big dogs and when we were unsure if they would let us have dogs we were greeted by one of the lovely men who was serving saying they were. He not only brought us English menus but brought a big bowl of dog water. Ordering was easy beer was good and the lobster and fish and chips were great! The dogs loved the dog ice cream cones. The service and how welcomed we felt was honestly refreshing and just spectacular.

Firstly to summaries what I will say,don’t go it’s awful.
The owner or someone who I believed was the owner was an absolute prick.There was a queue to get in so he gave people menus however when we were allowed in we were split up from 4 people to 2 twos but they were on opposite sides of the building and when we were able to order he said that we should of already decided what we were having in a horrible tone.Also when we did try to order we were denied some of our attempted order because the staff at the counter decided that what we ordered was too much for us.The atmosphere didn’t feel pleasant,this is because the owner was taking glasses the second you were done but it was to get you out.Also we me and my father were asked to move because the owner wanted to use our seats to turn it into a three seat but didn’t give us a choice to move.Also the time to wait for a seat was quite long.My sister who was eating on a different table as I said before was asked if she wanted to take her food in a box but she was currently eating at the time.The atmosphere made us think they wanted us out because we had paid and now only took up space.If you are planning to go here don’t,if I could stop myself from going would.

Very warm welcome, both for the service staff and the clearly experienced cooks who smiled at us. Generous meal + satisfactory quality/price. CLEAN kitchen. We ate at closing time; the employees clean the menus, condiments and surfaces with detail, very reassuring. Good beer, probably what amplifies the emotions in this review. A must in Percé, we left the restaurant next door to try here by chance...No regrets!

I agree with another review here ...it is quite difficult to find a meal in this town. For me it is almost impossible to find GF meals. We finally tried Surcouf one day for lunch and ended up going back for dinner. I had the rotisserie chicken. It was good, not great but at least I could eat. The second time I had a poutine with smoked meat and no sauce. My dad tried a fish and chips and it was good. My husband and mom had a pizza and it looked very tasty. I agree the fish and chips would be better with a home made tartar sauce but this is a snack bar offering many options and probably saves many families from going broke on meals. It is also one of the busiest spots on the street. They have a wide variety of food and they work their butts off making sure that they seat as many people as possible. They are very polite and efficient. We sat outside for ice cream after our lunch. Everyone loved the ice cream and the view. I highly recommend as a fast food option. There is no cheap food in Perce!
