Very unprofessional crew. Playing their music loud on top of the radio music in the kitchen. Talking very very loud resognating very strongly in the restaurant. Ruined our experience, especially when you pay 40$ for two burgers.. I like A&W but this one i wont comeback.

We were in earlier this week for a quick meal.
When I ordered I specifically stated no mayo or mustard on my burger.

When the burger came it was covered in mustard.

I went back to the register and explained I was ALLERGIC to yellow mustard and needed a new burger. They said okay and 5 minutes later I was given a new burger.

Except it wasn’t a new burger, it was the same burger, in the same bag with the mustard scraped off.

I went back to the register and said once again that I was ALLERGIC and would get very sick if I ate mustard. They sent it to the back and I watched as they took it out. Touched it and put it in a new bag.

When they handed it to me I was too upset to speak. I sat down and waited for my family to finish eating and then asked for the manager.

He immediately said “we’ve had this issues with you in the past” which is impossible because I live in OTTAWA. He asked his employees what happened and they said there was mustard on the bag not on the sandwich. That they remained the burger twice. Which was a lie, I watched them and it took less than a minute to get a new Beyond Meat burger. Which is not possible.

After saying he would refund me he asked for details on what I ordered and then got upset that I was asking for a refund on my whole meal instead of just the burger. Which I wasn’t. I only asked for a refund on the burger.

I got my refund and a quick I’m sorry.

But no comment on the fact that his staff was completely oblivious to what they did wrong.

The cook in the back made me wait over 15 minutes for a simple and passed over 10 people before me. All he can say was, “Yeah so what about your 15 minutes”

Ordered a Chubby Chicken sandwcih and a diet root beer.
I specifically asked what was on the sandwich and was told mayo and lettuce. What I received was a sandwich with MUSTARD on it!! I am allergic to mustard! When I entered the restaurant with the sandwich the cook who made it, was laughing! Are you kidding me?? I will never go back to that restaurant! That kid should be fired! Food allergies are serious! and who would ever put mustard on a chicken sandwich???

I remember when the mushroom burger was in, it was probably the best burger I've ever had at a&w, especially when you replace the aioli with mozza sauce *mouah* chefs kiss, they gotta bring it back asap. This a&w is very clean staff is welcoming and food is high quality. Since the Mushroom burger's not there right now, i'd recommend the mozza burger combo with fries and a sprite.

Vegetarian options: They have the Beyond burger, I haven't tried it but I know it's there so thats an option, they also have lettuce wrapped burgers if you cant or dont want to have buns.

Dietary restrictions: You can tell the cashier what you want or dont want, and they'll tell the kitchen crew so they people making the sandwiches know what to put and what not to put

Parking: its not that its difficult to find parking, its just that when it gets busy, it fills up quickly, there are 6 parking spots plus 1 handicap spot, other options would be to go park in the gas station parking lot which has 6 extra spots

Kid-friendliness: they have 2 child seats and the kids menu has a lot of good options

Wheelchair accessibility: They have 1 handicap friendly table, you can move chairs as you wish to make enough space if needed

Probably the best A&W I’ve been to so far. Really clean restaurant, fresh food, crispy fries. It’s everything you’d expect from A&W and more. I hope this location continues to serve food as good as I had it again.

I was so upset with the chubby chicken burger that we ordered from the drive thru.. when we opened it at home, it was just the crispy chicken and a very thin and tiny lettuce.. i posted the picture at the photo site..

Stan at the cash was very welcoming and professional very good employees at the back as well

Doesn't speak French, lots of errors in orders, much smaller portions than in other A&Ws, taste of old oils. Despite several complaints, no returns have been made! Very disappointing....

Best A&W, excellent, well-made hanburgers, excellent service, and atmosphere, clean

They have this stupid policy where you have to park and wait for your food even though the drive through is always empty
