Disappointing, not authentic Thai cuisine. Food was ok, but service was very slow due to lack of staff.
We were there to celebrate our anniversary. The place is really cozy and it feel like somewhere else in the world, especially the raised floor with the roof and the lit-up dragons . The service was perfect, friendly and efficient. The food was delicious ( the peanut sauce wontons were amazing) and fresh. The prices are very competitive and it's a BYOW so the bill was not too bad at all. We recommend this place for sure!
I have taken my Meet Up group here often and we love this restaurant. The food is always hot tasty and plentiful. The service was excellent and the bonus of BYOB always helps.
Excellent envirnmentSupper serviceGreat foodWe go there at least once a month and we love it
The rice was amazing as well as all of their food. Very tasty and full of flavor. I will definitely be going back.
Sweet and sour, not too pricey, quick service. Definitely coming back
Cute thai decor once you get inside, not much curtside appeal. The food is yummy, we had Tom Yam soups $5, mini imperial rolls $4.95 & the mains were basa curry fish $21.99 it was very good & crispy with a tasty diced veggie sauce not to spicy & the chicken with nuts $19.50 was very tasty too. Both dish came with stir fried veggie & steamed rice. To finish we had the fried pinapple with a nice syrup & a bowl of iced lychee nice way to refresh the palate. Friendly helpful service as well.
The Bangkok soup is amazing. I've made something similar before, but their curry paste is way better. By the way, the two jalapeño marks next to the name are unwarranted - don't be worried, I'm the least spice tolerant person in the world and it was still good. I don't understand why there was lettuce in there though. It was ok, just... lettuce. The bang shoy wasn't good though. The meat was good, but that was it, rice noodles were OK, and lettuce (what's with all the lettuce?) On the side with the fish sauce was not my favorite. The service was great though. Even with the big crowd, it was very fast. All in all, if I went again I'd just get the Bangkok soup as a full meal size. Delicious, filling and flavorful. Imo it should be promoted more. Even our waiter (Patrick I think) thought it was the best on the menu.
Food portions and quality are the worse and very expensive. Pad Thai Express gives better portions based on price per serving. Try to help the local restaurants and they shaft the clientele with poor quality. Pretty sad. , first and last.
This is a hidden gem in the West Island. The decor is beautiful and the food was amazing. The customer service was great and this restaurant is also BYOW! We really enjoyed sharing these plates and I’ll definitely be coming back but with wine this time!
Restaurantji Recommends
Friendly service. Nice decor. Peanut butter dumplings and shrimp with bamboo shoots and vegetables was very good. So was the fried bananas and pineapple.
super good food and very good service
Ordered tonight as we were craving an authentic Pad Thai & General Tao chicken & spring rolls. So our order came to $50. Which is extremely expensive for 2 people. Portions were small. The pad Thai had no vegetables 2 shrimps & a few pieces of chicken. It tasted like noodles fried in soya sauce. It tasted NOTHING like Pad Thai. The General Tao’s batter was soggy & tasteless. I do not recommend this restaurant.
Not real Thai authentic food...but ok for a BYOW
