Excellent fries, poutine is good, several choices of sauces. $40 for 2 trios ($5 more each for poutine instead of fries) I find it a little expensive. The burgers are made with a beef/pork mix I think, I didn't ask because it was super busy but it tasted like pork. Since I don't usually eat it, I would have liked to know about it before but oh well. Decent burgers but the patty is thin and a little dry.
Great road-side poutine place with generous portion sizes. I had “small” poutine and my friend had “medium” Italian sauce poutine. I’m glad we didn’t order the large size! Great place to feed a family after hiking in the national park.
This is a great place for crisp hot fries, classic poutine, or even a tasty gravy chicken sandwich. Patalou staff are friendly and the restaurant has a tidy laid back atmosphere. There's also ice cream in the back you can order. Traditional and creamy, not the cheap hydrogenated oil and sugar stuff. Plenty of seating inside and out. Worth a stop and a satisfying bite to eat.
