I would have given 5 stars, but I found the service to be a little lacking, considering I expected this to be a higher end restaurant. The hostess did her job but didn't seem at all enthusiastic or very friendly. Our waitress forgot to ask if we wanted coffee with our dessert and didn't offer pepper with the soup or meal. Despite all this, the service was good in general, the food was fantastic, the wine pairings were superb and the ambiance was very nice, for a lunch crowd.

It was my husband birthday, he was very well pampered :-), the food was delicious high end quality restaurant the service was amazing very friendly and welcoming waiters. The ambiance was great in general . Highly recommended !!

I went to 40 Westt with my son. Honestly, I remember the steaks were a lot better in the past. We ordered ribeyes with mashed potatoes. We also ordered a serving of shrimp. Steak was average at best, mashed potatoes were clumpy and the shrimp were overcooked. Service was good but the food was not. I am writing this review to warn potential clients that they will likely not get their money’s worth.

Despite all this, the service was good in general, the food was fantastic, the wine pairings were superb and the ambiance was very nice, for a lunch crowd.
