Everything about this restaurant is amazing! The lighting, music, sound (look up they have installed sound boards so you can hear what the person in front of you is saying!) the wood tables and service! And of course the food is delicious!! Unique sushi you will not find anywhere else!! The waitress was very friendly and knowledgable, and did not let us order more than we needed!! 10 out of 5 stars!

When entering the restaurant, we were greeted with a strange odor. Despite ordering different maki rolls, tartar and rice paper rolls, it all tasted the same and bland. Finally, the sushi rice was mushy and overcooked.

This sushi restaurant left me with mixed feelings. On the one hand, it wasn't the first time we visited this place with my wife, and the first time was as special as this one – our anniversary. That's why we decided to book a table in advance, two weeks prior, choosing a special spot by the window.
Unfortunately, due to a car accident on the road, we were 15 minutes late, which we reported to the restaurant by phone. Upon arrival, it turned out that our table was already taken. Of course, we were very upset, but decided not to spoil our evening and sat at another table.
The service, as always, was excellent – the waiter, a young man with dark hair and excellent English, was very attentive. Alas, there were questions about the food. It seemed that there was a disproportionate amount of rice in the rolls. However, the tartare was simply divine, a huge thank you to the chef!
But the most unpleasant thing was waiting for us ahead. Half an hour later, the table by the window that we had booked became free. We politely asked to be transferred, explaining the situation, but were refused. For over an hour before we left, this table remained empty, although we emphasized three times the importance of this place for us on this special day. Again, we were sitting at the next table on our anniversary, looking at the empty table that had been reserved for us. I consider this attitude of the staff to be unacceptable.
Despite all the advantages of this restaurant, pleasant memories and good service, because of this attitude, I intend to forget the way to this restaurant.

Avocado Sushi Village is a delicious cozy little restaurant. You can find most of your staple rolls, but the real treat is their signature rolls, the Cynthia stands out amongst our entire meal. The menu offered a lot of variety with several vegetarian options. This place is a gem in the Point Claire village!

Vegetarian options: Fantastic vegetable rolls, a wide variety of vegetables that aren't just the sushi classics.

This is by far the freshest, tastiest, most intriguing sushi i’ve ever had. The owner is an absolute sweetheart and even recommended I remove some of my orders due to it being too much. By being honest, she gained a loyal customer for life. 10/10 absolutely spectacular, nothing else to say about this place.

A very interesting and charming sushi restaurant, set up in a little house, with good ambiance and excellent service. Presentation and taste was very good; the only thing is that aficionados of traditional may find fewer options than they are used to in the menu, which has more creative, non-traditional items. However there are still offerings of traditional rolls, as well as some nigiri and sashimi. Pricing is typical for sushi.

Delicious first visit to Avocado. My suggestion would be to tell your server the ingredients you like, and then turn them loose on choices. If you like the ingredients, be sure to try 'The Cynthia'.
