I had high hopes after hearing such great things about this place. It was my partner and I’s first time eating here. We came to celebrate his birthday, and were quite disappointed.

Our first impression was that it was very hot/humid inside, the air was very heavy, and there was an odd scent. When we were seated, our table was sticky. Service was okay at best, but nothing outstanding.

The drinks were good, but the quality of the food was lacking, especially considering the high reviews. We got the chefs choice duo and it was nothing special.

Lastly, I had mentioned when making the reservation that it was for a special occasion (birthday), and there was nothing done about it. I know it’s not mandatory, but a small gesture/offering would’ve been appreciated.

Overall, quite an underwhelming experience.

I came with high expectations because I have heard so many people rave about this place. Very cute restaurant and vibe. Nice service and food arrived quickly. It’s not that I didn’t like it but I didn’t love it either. It was good but not the best sushi I ever tasted. Overall I recommend trying it out maybe next time will try more stuff on the menu.

Nice setting and friendly service. The salad was fresh and tasty, but the sushi was very average. The salmon tartare had a strong fishy taste, which was a bit disappointing. There was not a lot of fish in some pieces. Overall, it was okay, but I don’t think I’d go back.

Great sushis. I have went 4/5 times, out of those times only one time was a bit inconsistent in terms of the food. Went recently to pick up an order and it was really delicious. Sushis that are unique and beautifully presented. The nantucket, lisabel and asian twist are very good! The salmon sashimi last time were very fresh too! 🐟🍣
