Me and my husband didn't have a fun experience at this restaurant. The water has so many bugs stuck on the ice, I was about to drink and noticed few bugs floating! So right there you lose your appetite. We also waited for our food for a very long time and the place wasn't even busy. They also brought the plate one by one with like more than 30 mins apart. Lastly, they gave us our Dragon eye sushi order which is burnt! Horrible!

Looking for an authentic Japanese Sushi experience than here IT is. It’s near the Airport and only 17-20 minutes from downtown Montreal. Relaxed atmosphere. Free parking.Katoreya is not only authentic but provides best Value and great selection and fish preparation styles …equal to my Tokyo dining experience.Great Job chef and Katoreya Team.

Really enjoyed our dinner experience at this restaurant. The ambiance was calm and enjoyable. The staff was so sweet and delivered such great service. The sushi was so delicious (tried the special Sushi for two with an additional roll - the Besame) really good! Plus bring your own wine!

Cozy. Not a super high ceiling so sound doesn't bounce & echo everywhere so it's not noisy & we can hear each other easily. Food is excellent. Won Ton soup is really good. Sushi is very tasty, quality is excellent, many different choices & well presented. Very good tempura dishes. Excellent a la carte teriyaki dishes for those who don't likes sushi or fish. Have been dining at Katoreya many times over the last 8 years. Sometimes service slightly slow but it's still okay. Very nice waiters & waitresses. Added bonus. You can bring your own wine!

The only sushi restaurant I will go to. Fresh sushi. Delicious rolls. Great kitchen items. Skilled chefs. Very clean and spacious. The only question mark is the service which can be hit or miss. The waitress with the facial piercings is very sweet and good at her job. She really cares about the guests. The older lady who helps with takeout orders is also very nice. The male server and hostess are very rude and should not be working in hospitality although she has not been present the last few times we have gone
