Had a nice dinner tonight - food was good, and the portions were generous. We had the trio of spreads as an entree and moussaka as a main. The atmosphere was festive so sometimes it was a bit hard to talk to my partner but it was understandable considering the large party they were accommodating. The prices to me were fine as it is a BYOW restaurant. The one thing that bothered me was the Greek salad that accompanied the meal. It has a surcharge of 4 dollars compared to other salads. I guessed it was because of the price of feta and olives. In the end though, there were 2 olives and a couple of crumbs of feta and pretty much the equivalent of a whole red onion - which I left. Not was I expect from a Greek salad in a supposedly highly regarded Greek restaurant - especially with them charging extra. I told the waitress and showed her the pile of onion in my plate - but it was disregarded and I was charged the 4 dollars. That was disappointing and off putting.

The food was outstanding, however the portions are gargantueous, we all took doggy bags home. The chicken souvlaki could be diminished to one stick and so could the price. The moussaka was delicious but the piece was good enough for two meals. The $65 option on the menu was crazy and too much food for 1 person. They should rethink the menu and prices.

We’ve had nothing but great experiences at Philino’s Ouest. We’ve visited on 4 occasions and have been doing take away as well. The portions are very large, the chicken filets are super juicy and delicious and the lentil soup is fantastic! The fact that it is BYOW is the cherry on top. The staff are always friendly and welcoming. Looking forward to our next meal already!

Pros: restaurant is recent, clean. The food is delicious, the best part was the fried calamari, phenomenal! Service is fast, it’s bring your own wine.
Cons: it’s so loud inside plus the whole menu is overpriced. We wanted to pay with a visa gift card and were have been told that it wasn’t possible.

Overpriced, terrible service without a smile, the waiter grudgingly took our order and then disappeared for the rest of our time there. Had to get up and go to find him. Horrible loud noises and people yelling in the kitchen, the food portions were stingy, the food was cold and underseasoned.Outrageous prices. So disappointed. Never again.
