We are great fans of the Imperial restaurant. We love to go for Dim Sum and their dumplings are very plump filled with yummy goodness. We also adore their sticky rice. We tend to go first thing in the morning and there is always space. The staff are pleasant and service is very fast. We received our order 7 minutes after placing it online using the code on our table. We recommend the Imperial for Dim Sum fans in the West Island as we are loyal customers who are so happy they are here.

Never going back. Place looks ok, although tables are dirty. The food was so so, but my tofu was horrible. The wait time was ridiculous and it was impossible to get the waiters attention. He was busy serving other tables all their orders, although they got there after us . It’s also not cheap, so why suffer through this. Honestly Ill take Wok Cafe over this mess any day of the week.

The waiter and manager tried to hustle our table saying the tip was not big enough, and that leaving a larger tip was the law. A law which does not exist. This is extortion through guilt and false pretense.
Food was good but service was very slow. The waiters stink of cigarettes and there were fruit flies and black flies in the restaurant, I doubt the level of cleanliness of this establishment.
I will be reporting them to the Government for illegal practices and the OQLF since they don't speak a lick of French and barely a lick of English either.

I have been here twice - once with a group of about 10, once for lunch with 2 people. The food both times was fresh and delicious. For a large group the family style portions make for tremendous value for the money, and lots of great food. At lunch one main was split between two, and it was plenty of food.

Nice elegant Chinese restaurant in the West Island. Plenty of parking available. Food is tasty with good portions. Price is on the upper end. The service was nothing special. The temperature was extremely hot. Borderline unbearable. Asked if they could make it a little cooler and the response was that the air conditioning was at maximum. I estimate that it was around 25 degrees

Beef chow fun was smoky and flavorful, seafood crispy noodles had perfect crunch with rich seafood sauce, chicken feet were tender and well-seasoned, and the seafood tofu soup was comforting and full of fresh flavor. Generous portions and authentic, worth a visit!

The food is fine but be careful and check your bill. Not only have i been overcharged with extra dishes but also they charged us twice for the same meal by allowing two different people to unknowingly pay the same bill - how could that even be possible??.

It was my first visit to Restaurant Imperial in the DDO Mega Mall and I was impressed by the warm greeting and the welcoming atmosphere. We ordered the Hot & Sour Soup and Peanut Butter Dumplings and they arrived quickly. They were fresh and delicious. We also ordered Crispy Noodle Black Pepper Sauce Beef on Sizzling Plate, Peanut Butter Chicken Crispy Spinach and General Tao Chicken. The food was fresh and tasty and the service was impeccable. Will definitely visit again. This has become my favourite West Island Chinese restaurant.

Honestly if I could I would give this review a zero star. I would.
First of all I must say that the person that greeted us did it awful job and never gave us the indication or instructions on how to actually order the food. The food was okay they make pretty good dim sum I must admit.
The part that really upset me the most and that made me decide to never return there again is how the manager of the restaurant and gave me shit for not giving a tip. Said that it was the law to give when in fact he's wrong. The law does not state that it is legal or illegal. He lied. It was a mediocre service no one even spoke English no one even smiled at us. one lady literally threw our dish on to the table. I left no tip lol and proud that I didn't. And honestly what a stupid culture we have in Canada. Pay for your own damn employees no one wants to pay more for the food.
I do not recommend this restaurant for this reason.
I was pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. The ambiance is warm and inviting, creating a truly enjoyable dining atmosphere. More importantly, the food exceeded expectations. I’ve never been a fan of orange chicken until now. The dish here was a standout, with tender, flavorful chicken and a perfectly balanced sauce. I’ll certainly be returning for another visit.
