Cutlery dirty. Food caked on my plate was not a good start. Waiter was only waiter working. Nice guy but he was hard to track down when needed because he was too busy. Not coming back ever again. Food was ok but very expensive. Did I say I’m never coming back again ? $60 a person , no alcohol is way too much for some pasta.
The service the food everything was great will definitely go back
Last time I was here was in 2018. I will update this list when Need be.
Pros:
A) It had a huge space inside. It’s a pretty big restaurant inside.
B) I came here with a Leadership Group and they can accommodate large groups if need be. Make sure to call and inquire first.
C) The restaurant looks clean and well maintained at the time.
D) Plenty of parking on less busy days.
E) Location is good and perfect.
F) The food was really. Good I ordered a type of pasta at the time since we were a lot and it was good.
Cons:
A) The restaurant looks empty on less busy days.
B) The restaurant could do better in terms of taste and maybe by improving and listening to customer feedback.
C) Make the Restaurant about Quality and customers and Having God In it.
Conclusion:
God Bless you and this restaurant is okay. The reviews say otherwise but will change it once I try it.
God Bless the people and customers and employees who do good.
Repent and Believe. Jesus is King!
God Bless you. Thank you.
The food was okay, but mens bathroom smelt like urine + I found hair in my food
The mussels were good, but the service was horrific .
It’s an academy, and you get what you pay for. You take a chance when you go there. One day, you might have the best experience; the next, it could be the total opposite. Especially with this new young generation running the show as managers and servers—they can’t handle even a bit of negative feedback. If you voice your opinion, it might screw up your whole night.
Good food, not great in today's standards. Grand decor but aging. This may have been the place in the 90s but you can see the wear.
We got there at about 5:30, seated and then ignored for 10 minutes. No menu, no water. Over half the restaurant was empty so no excuses.
Food is decent, but I get the overwhelming feeling that no body cares anymore. You can smell the age of the restaurant.
Would have been nice to have visited in the 1990s.
We had a great experience for our son’s baptism.
From start to finish the restaurant was very accommodating with our requests.
Food was great, service was great and best of all still very affordable in today’s economy.
I highly recommend this restaurant for your next event.
Martin was great in making sure we got everything we wanted.
Understaffed on a Saturday night with multiple parties… the waitress did great and was lovely but maybe the owner should hire more staff..
The food was okay, nothing special for a hefty price tag. The key lime pie was probably the worst I’ve ever had. I did enjoy the bruschetta but it could have used more feta. The calamari was also delicious.
They’re offering far too many choices on the menu and should limit it to only dishes they’ve perfected. I will not be returning.
MTL best kept secret. Sunday's free for kids under 12 years old. Bring your wine for the win. Friendly staff.
Restaurantji Recommends
Fun byo wine restaurant with a very diverse menu selection. The food is good and service is excellent. We come here 3-4 times a year and we have yet to be disappointed.
Food is awful, I have never tasted something so bad! The pasta were watery and tasteless and the fish had an akward smell. I would never return again and not recommend this place
I came on Wednesday evening at 8.20 pm and they said that they had to close because it was not very busy. although there were 2 large tables (approx. 20 people), I don't think it's very professional to do this when it says on google that you close at 10 p.m.
Food was great!
Had the salmon.
Service was amazing, especially the amount on people we were.
Big space, good for company dinners, etc.
Did not receive a bread basket, but waitress apologized after we paid the bill
Sodas were warm and waitress stated refrigerator was broken. I hope the meat is in cold storage.
The calamari was rubbery and very oily.
The filet mignon was not a filet mignon was tired with rope and very thin slice of meat that was held together with a rope, you saw the rope scar after cooking , but removed.
it was a surf n turf with two small shrimp and small lobster tail. 62$
Long wait to receive plates, we were all of three couples in the whole restaurant,
My penne Italian sausage was not a real italien sausage, similar to a hot dog sliced up.
Pecan pie was dry and stale
Value versus meal we did not get our moneys worth.
As we walked out the glass doors were horrific and full of finger prints and grease.
Brutal but honest and the waitress was very polite. She came to see us several times to check on everything.
She’s the reason that the restaurant got one star.
