Used to go when it was Mr Spicy, there was a recent change in management/ownership and the quality of the food is the same. Prices are reasonable.

Restaurant is now Shing Kee, new owners.Food is the same quality. Very good. Prices have gone up a little bit. I got take out.

Absolutely love it!!! Freshest and tastiest food, also great service! Too bad they are temporarily closed now. I read that it’s due to a family emergency. I’m so hoping that everything is ok and that they will soon open their doors again.

Amongst the better Chinese restaurants I've ever been to.I mean, when you talk about all-you-can-eat menus, it's usually tough to come by good quality. Thats not true at Mr. Spicy. I've been here a few times now and am blown away each time by the finesse and quality of everything we order. I convinced a few of my friends to try it for the first time and their impression was similar to mine, "best Asian food I've eaten".A vast selection on their tasting menu, without being too complicated. Friendly and fast service. In my opinion, their General Tao chicken, Mr. Spicy's peanut chicken and Crispy Beef with Sesame are just spot on. Just exceptional.Reasonably priced, you can't really ask for more. Will be coming back.

Ordered takeout at 4:30pm on a Saturday night, only received my food at 6:00pm. But the food is delicious and the portions are good, so it was worth the wait. And the staff is very friendly. I would just just manage your expectations about getting the food quickly if you are ordering takeout. But otherwise this place is great and the food is awesome.

A great time with great people—Friday night well spent. Food is awesome and so affordable. I definitely recommended sharing plates and splitting the bill afterwards. The staff were so welcoming, thoughtful and friendly. So yeah, I highly recommend. I would also advise y'all to make RESERVATIONS because they do get very busy. Luckily, in our case, they accommodated us even though they were booked & busy??. Tip your server! Xoxoxo

Ordered 4 dishes for pickup at a specific time. Arrived ontime. Still had to wait a fair bit even though my time was well before any dinner rush.Portions a little smaller than expected. No white rice with the General Tao chicken. Kind surprised. Seafood noodles where over cooked. Chicken was extra tough and dry. Was my first time ordering here. I think we’ll go back to our other usual Chinese take our place.

Walked into place an order and was told the wait time would be 20 minutes took 2 hours. Horrible owner compensated for the long wait by giving me almond cookies. Very overpriced and unprofessional owners would never recommend this restaurant to anyone. What a big joke.

In all honesty if youre looking to dine in for good chinese food in the area, look somewhere else. Don't get me wrong the food was good here; however, the wait time for the food is not worth it! We waited for our food for 1.5 hours. Plus don't except youre getting top notch service for it. First, we found a bug on one of plates, i called the server, he just laughed it out and pretended to eat it. Second, a different server spilled water on me, while pouring water. Third, they gave our food to a different table, and claimed that everything was fresh out of the stove when handed to us, but what actually happened was they took our food away from the wrong table "took it to the back" waited at their little station for 30 seconds before giving the "fresh food" to us. When in reality, I saw everything that happened and I knew for a fact that our server was straight up lying to us. Nothing was compensated. I give them 2 stars, and that's me being generous for the food.

Clean and wonderful experience. The waiting staff are tentative and once you become a regular, they remember who you are and know what you like which adds to that extra great customer service experience. Menu options are plentiful and many do miss the Chefs Choice option where you can pick and choose smaller dishes to try out from their limited menu- this is not a point worthy of a deduction in stars as the suspension of this service is a economical effect of the pandemic. We hope this famous and popular option will bounce back but none the less, the quality, quantity and taste is well worth your time and dollar.

Overall was fun, except they forgot to cook the meal of 2 people from our large group, more than 20 people, and i was one of them. When the food came, was overcooked and very salty, both people we ordered same plate chicken-shrimps with pastas, we could not eat. The won-ton soup and dumplings in peanut butter sauce were very good. Still need some organization there.

Ordered the curry for pick up. There was no cutlery or napkins included in the order. The infant-sized container was only about 1/3 full; it looked half eaten. Taste was similar to soggy cardboard simmered in ramen powder. Stay away!

Always great food... A very popular place in the West Island. Make sure to call ahead of time during dinner.
